I've added about a dozen people from here, but the only people who have actually been confirmed on that list are Miles, Mo0, Iwata, and Starman. Everyone else is still awaiting confirmation.

Seems like the same issue Sacred X was having earlier.

It IS true that I do not like the online implementation of this game at ALL, and it's entirely shithouse to have to deal with, but I am still looking for that damn switch I need at a reasonable fucking price before I go wired, so it's not like you should expect to see me on very often. I'll play extremely rarely. You won't see me much. If you think that's a reason enough to nix me from the list, then go for it. Open up more slots for you folks who will play more often.

I will remove and re-add some folks tomorrow. Perhaps that will solve the problem.

I've learned that people not only need to have added eachother, but must be online at the same time at least once to officially be on eachother's lists. I don't think deleting and readding will change any of that. What some people just do is leave their Wii online overnight or throughout the day to confirm people easier.

I meant it more from a perspective of entering the numbers wrong, I'm mildly dyslexic and very easily could have entered the Wii number incorrectly without noticing it. I'll re-add people and cycle the numbers through anyway and double confirm I did it right.

I'll leave myself connected to the old buttfuck connection though just to be sure, though. Thanks for the tip.

Actually, barring somebody having a FC that you entered mistakenly, it won't let you enter them. I tried this myself and got an "Invalid Friend Code" error.

Good to know, it must be just a case of not being on at the same time as the other person then. =D

Friend codes aside, It's Monday! Update time!

Today's update (and I totally called it wrong on the other page): Wolf

So I guess they aren't ending the updates with him... Why not? Knock out the last three characters that aren't SSE related in the course of a week!

One thing I am slightly thrown off about is what they called his Up+B... Which is Fire Wolf... Wolf Booster sounds awfully reasonable right now about now.

YouTube - SSBB - Boss Battles (Intense Mode, No Hearts/Heal) - Boss Battles on Intense without using a single heart. I didn't see it coming, but this guy does a lot of "No Damage" vids.

I've also realized I don't hate 75m as much as I did, but I completely dislike that Mario Stage that R.O.B is always on. Those little guys are powerful.

I've just recently acquired this game (I imported the US version and the providential Wii freeloader) and so far I must say it is truly superb.
Nothing has let me down yet, not even SSE which exceeded my expectations, despite some slight repetition in the gameplay scheme and the little variety sported by the Subspace minor foes. So far I find Brawl to be a really worthy successor to Melee, to the extent that I believe it surpasses the previous title in many aspects.

Now I'm trying to unlock everything without rushing things. Yesterday I completed SSE on Normal and today I have gathered all the characters.
I would really like to play online, mainly through means of Friend Codes exchange, since I've tried the option "With Anyone" but the lag was honestly unbearable.
Do you guys also notice considerable input latency in that mode?

It's about a half-second, but it really doesn't throw me off too much.

Hay, update time again.

Today's Update: Pirate Ship

Nothing too exciting, but alas, a notice on the Dojo. They're ceasing updates on the 14th.

That's something I should do, because I haven't been online often with SSBB.

Speaking of SSBB online, here's the Official Online Version of SSBB.
You get the same action pack fun from the Wii version.

Well, I have just purchased Smash Brothers Brawl, and of course my Wii does not read it. I've heard of this as a common problem, and personally I don't want to wait weeks for Nintendo to put a disk cleaner in my Wii and ship it back. So, any alternatives (I've tried a disk cleaner, the Wii won't let the disk spin) other then shipping off to Nintendo?

I guess that's why I was born, to recognize the beauty of a roses thorn

Buy a new Wii...

...or just send it to Nintendo. They don't "clean" the Wii; that's a lie. They'll tweak the laser to read DL disc or give you a "refurbish" Wii that has the tweaking. All your saves and VC games are still intact.

Today's Update: All-Star Mode

I didn't actually know that the order you face people in All-Star mode is the year these characters first made their appearance in Japan.

And the pictures taken are pretty good, too bad half those poses aren't even possible within normal gameplay. I seriously need a picture of Wolf crossing his arms like he does in his victory pose.

Sakurai also admits that it's hard to come up with new characters. After Pokemon, there's a six year gap between that and Pikmin.

I've tried some more matches in that mode and indeed it alternates between instances of unbearable input latency to much more tolerable degrees of delay (half-seconds, as you said).

Anyway I'm posting here my Friend Code, so if anyone wants to add me and dispute some brawl together can ultimately do so: 3007-8004-1759.
I'm not that good yet with the game, but hopefully we can still have some fun online. ^^

Do people even play this game. I'm going through and adding a bunch of you niggers today, you'll probably have to bug me in chat to get a game going though.

Not surprised, really. Halo 3 is the best game ever made, after all.
