Hrm...a little interesting, but still not what I was hoping for. I know Brawl's pretty much all about the multiplayer, but I am glad that they're giving what seems like a pretty solid single player mode, campaign or what have you. Even neater that a friend can jump in along with you to play, I like that.

Through taunts, but I believe you're able to customize the message beforehand.

Yea. They're suppose to be assigned to the d-pad directions for each one. But that's only through friends, and not random people online.

Awww...I was totally going to make a taunt where...and I know this might sound retarded, have Ganondorf taunt and yelling "THIS IS SPARTA!!", but only after KOing someone with that very similar forward kick of his.

..Not that I won't get to do it (provided that line isn't too long), it'll just be restricted to friends.

Wait...are these being put up in roughly the order you unlock them in (at least as far as the secret fighters go)? I would find that rather displeasing.

Yeah, seems to be going in order by how many VS. matches it takes to unlock them. It should go a little like this:

(X means it's been announced.)
[5 VS. matches] Ness X
[10 VS. matches] Marth X
[22 VS. matches] Luigi X
[50 VS. matches] Falco X
[70 VS. matches] Captain Falcon X
[100 VS. matches] Lucario X
[160 VS. matches] R.O.B. (Robot)
[200 VS. matches] Ganondorf
[250 VS. matches] Mr. Game & Watch
[350 VS. matches] Jigglypuff
[400 VS. matches] Toon Link
[450 VS. matches] Wolf

If those numbers of VS matches are correct, then ROB should be the next character announced.

One thing that caught my attention though, is that they really went all out with him. If Ganondorf or Toon Link got half as much attention paid to their moves, we'd be in business.

Oh, and here's a better demonstration of that passive Aura ability (damage and knockback multiplier increases in 25% increments, starting from 25% and capping at 200%). The aura sphere below is actually big enough to hit someone hanging off a ledge.

Oh hell yes.

Reading GoNintendo, there's a program that allows you to change the .bin files for Brawl to JPEGs. Now we can post screen shots of epic tales and pervertedness.
