Just spent a while doing a total revamp of my Backloggery. I rather like it.

I'm actually more impressed the congrats email I recieved was written by a real person instead of being an automated message, and that they recognized Ico and Yorda to begin with.

AND one commentator recognized my footer quote. So that's awesome too!

I've gone back and ranked every game I listed, added some more, and updated their Owned status. I'll go through and add comments at some point, but there's a lot of games I'm missing, and that's my priority.

I added a TON of games last night. I don't think I got them all, though. Added mostly stuff from old-gen, and a bunch of NDS games. My completion rate for NDS is TERRIBLE.

Also, new banner to go along with the Vesperia craze. I'm pretty happy with it.

Yeah, Meia (it was Meia, right?) got a bunch of us in early and we tore it up pretty good for a while a motws.

Just noticed it when I was on earlier tonight. Congrats Omagnus, you totally deserve it as all your themes have been pretty awesome.

Well I'll be, that was somewhat unexpected. Seems they liked the photoshopping on the ship too: "You've got a slick banner and color scheme, and the Backloggery branding on your Wipeout craft is pretty nifty!" ^__^

But now someone else from GFF needs to step up, see if we can retain the award.

Updated my game list as well as ranked every game I have, save for the ones I just got with my 360 yesterday and haven't played. I also updated the index on the opening post so go stalk your (not-so) favorite GFFer elsewhere today!

Just for clarification on how to be a MotW or to know some background for anyone who wishes to know.

I frequently browse through another forum, GAF, and in one of the threads SD had posted in, I saw a post that linked to Backloggery back in late February. I was taken back by simple design with a practical purpose and I figured oh yeah, I bet GFF would love this.

And almost in no time, Acer got to be the Member of the Week. We (both me and Acer) were surprised but in the same turn, that turned out to be intoxicating for anyone who just signed up for Backloggery, who doesn't want to be on the front page for a week?

Besides having nice collections, we already had decent amount of people HERE who had great color/banner ideas for their pages as well as great manner with others (GFFers).

I personally like to think that besides having a nice design and a nice collection, getting yourself known as well as friendly across the board, you'd be up there eventually like myself. I'm not going to lie, my collection is insane, and I only used simple green tones (then). However, I began to realize why I was elected was because I was friendly and helpful as well as giving up plenty of opinions in other backloggers' pages. In this particular case, just around before I was a motw, I was giving Draconis plenty of DW7 advice that would take up your comment section completely. The kind of advice that you wouldn't even find on GameFAQs anymore from a simple question from him on "what classes should I take". O.o' (I really wanted his experience with DW7 to be at least enjoyable. AND IT WAS! )

Also, I think the comments/descriptions makes up for the MotW factor too, not to mention the footer of your page as well. So if you really want to be MotW, you'll have to be doing something special!

Oh yeah, and they do frown upon those who abused the "mastered" status.

Anyway, out of all this, I just wanted to say thank you guys (motw or not), for being so awesome gamers to begin with.

Just updated my list with games I once owned or borrowed.

I need to update my wishlist...
