[PS3] Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What To Eat? PROTIP: THIS IS THE MGS4 THREAD

Mine displays 12:00 midnight as 0:00. I can live with it. The alarm settings on the Mac version are under "alarm" in the tool bar. Basically just what Rasputin said, the hours are set in military time for the alarm. I've got mine set to warn me for "The Unit" tomorrow night.

You mean no translated Mac version? The one Peitak gave me seems to be in English.. I'm still using it but now I don't really have anything to set the alarm for. I always remember when 24 is on, and that's really the only thing I need an alarm for.


The latest Kojima Productions Report said that the (Japanese) voice actors for Snake, Otacon, and Raiden have all recently recorded some dialogue for the game. They also said that they're busy getting ready for E3. Though a new trailer at E3 has yet to be officially confirmed, it's fairly obvious that there will be one (why record dialogue this early in the development unless you were going to show off the game, right?). Anyway, this Friday is supposed to see some hints at what we can expect at E3 in the KP Report. Something I found interesting in the Report is that the Producer of MGS4 Ken Imaizumi also worked on Silent Hill 1! woot! This raises my hopes for this whole "psychological warfare" thing.

Hey, did anyone else find the MGS4 Passport videos pointless? Not only was there no relevant info to MGS4, but they barely showed off the buildings and architecture of the place that they were at. All they did was talk about the wierd food they were eating and how the locals all thought the MGS4 team was Jackie Chan.

I enjoy the Passport videos. It's clear now what MGS4's setting will be for the most part, or at least partially.

To me it was like a secret mission to give us details by not saying anything at all, not that there's really anything to say at this point in the development. Also those two guys are pretty enjoyable to watch.

Also I didn't know the Mac verison was translated

Campbell's back! woot! Of coarse Liquid will be back in the form of Ocelot's arm, that's one of the mysteries Kojima has promised to solve. Where was it confirmed that they'd all be shown at E3?

They've also been doing motion capture sessions for the E3 trailer as well as hand animating the facial expressions which the voice actors were very impressed by but Kojima said that as time goes on and they use motion capture the animation and expressions will look even better which surprised the actors.

The E3 trailer should look alot different than the TGS trailer visually too since aside from Snake all the textures were a rush job as the TGS footage was originally supposed to be just 10 seconds long.

The latest report no.11 confirmed about voice sessions for E3 trailer,connect it with this newly leaked voice talents.
I am sure they must be getting the voiceactrs to pack up E3 trailer.

E3 trailer will surely fuck all of us.

Well E3 is month away but let me ask a favor in advance and that is, if i would be unable to find downloadable trailer of MGS4 , i will ask you people to put it up here.

I know when E3 happens, people around the wrold sucks up the servers and shit.

Oh hell yeah, as soon as the trailer is leaked I'll post it here, that is if I get my greedy hands on it before everyone else. Rapidshare or Megaupload? Or perhaps there's an alternative. I'll Yousendit if it's under 50 mb.

Of coarse the early versions of the trailer that we get will likely be shakey handycam versions of poor quality. It'll probably be a month before hi-res direct feed is available.

They better reveal some story elements in the E3 trailer. The TGS one was, as cool as it looked, rather pointless. I would love to also see some characters besides Ocelot and Snake in the trailer, like Meryl and Raiden. Seeing them in high resolution will be most satisfying. I also want to see how Kojima has made Raiden cool.

So there's my piece.

The voice cast also hints at something bad.
Vamp could be missing in the trailer or there will be his appearance only.

Ahh, I assumed much, but I'm glad that it's confirmed now. No doubt Norihiko Hibino will return as well. Hopefully the new trailer at E3 (assumed), will feature some new music, preferably the new mix of the MGS theme.

Do you think that a place like Gamespot will host a better quality trailer sometime after the unvieling (as so with the Advent Children stuff from years past?) Also people with possible connections to that site (membership..ugh) are helpful as well .

Nah, Gamespot (and IGN) will only post an official direct feed trailer (in low resolution too), which will be released months after E3. The shakey pirated footage will be the eariest footage we will be able to see. Maybe someone on Gamespot's forums will post a link to such footage, but that's as good as it's gonna get.
