[PS3] Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What To Eat? PROTIP: THIS IS THE MGS4 THREAD

OMFG, the MGS series just gets better and better and this one seems its gonna have a lot of emotion and a even deeper story then the others. Hell at this point I'm more interested in the story then the gameplay.

With all the hype about the graphics and storyline (which we could pretty much tell would be top rate)...we have yet to see what they're going to give us new in terms of game play. That's something I would be interested in seeing.

heh awesome gfx but they are still using that crappy blood effect from mgs3. I belive kojima is screwing us all =D, no way snake is gonna die. And he still hasnt let go of his silly sci-fi stuff, but that's mgs so gogogogogo

fighting was the only thing Snake was good at and now he realizes Wars/fighting/battles are noting but business,so he goes to grave of BB salutes, comes back sits in isolation and BAM!

Well I thyought I read somewhere that the game would take place in north Africa. This game isn't going to be about Country vs. Country, it's about Mercinaries vs. Mercinaries. It's not like a major world changing war that will change the coarse of history, it's a small routine skirmish that is a frequent occurance in the new world. Religion, land, and even money are not a factor in the war, it's just war.

No man. This is definetly the Middle East. Especially the music used in both the trailers and the Passport, undeniable.

Wow, just wow...... the trailer was trash, and I can't stand any of the scenes, so unrealistic, it's all garbage.

I still don't like MGS3, but i'm glad this new story is going to take a whole new aspect. I still don't like the whole liquid ocelot thing. Bleh.

I'd like to see some real time gameplay, I wonder how the camera is going to be like, etc.

I think Mobius is right when he's saying that it's not anything like Israel / Palestina. I think that's just too political for old Koj', and anyway, it wouldn't fit with the whole 'War has changed'-speak.

Also, I wonder if the Snake trying to kill himself is Snake at all. We know that Big Boss is featured in some way. (Most'd probably say that he's a corpse, but if Vamp and Liquid can defy death, why not old Naked Snake, eh?) I wouldn't be suprised at all if that's actually Big Boss. Notice his face. It could be a wound Snake got from a battle, or something completely different ( :-o )

About Raiden, did anyone notice how the eye visor like thing on him is very much like the Solid Eye implement from the first trailer? I just wonder how it works because his eyes are closed when they move away, so I wonder if they stay closed while using the visor (perhaps sending information from the Solid Eyes directly into the brain?).

That's my guess. I suppose it works in conjunction with the nano machines to send data directly to the brain. I also like the transparent shield over his face. I suppose that's bullet proof.

And Megalith needs to stfu on all matters Metal Gear.

If Halo 3 didn't placate him, what chance did MGS4 have?

Actually, it was confirmed some years ago in an interview that the "good" ending was the true one. I think it was an article in EGM, where they interviewed Kojima on the matter after MGS2's release (if I remembered correctly). Heh, but that should have been obviously, considering that Snake mentioned that he has infinite ammo while pointing at his bandana (during the part where you storm Arsenal Gear).

And a 15 min trailer!?! Sweet! Can't wait to see some gameplay footage! I wonder if Kojima plans to include MGO2 with this one.

This could very well be my doomsday vision, but.
If snake DOES kill himself will it be the ending of MGS ?
Or do you guys think he should continue with raiden? Personally if the gloomy snake-kills-himself situation does happen, kojima should stop making mgs' .
because even though the new raiden looks cool and such I still prefer to play with snake.
