[PC] Basically now Borderlands 2 is out, nobody is playing the Diablo triple

When did you try to run the beta? Beta servers closed down on the 1st with the game coming out next week.

Kinda makes me wonder, since the game is going to be online at all times (while having an active battle.net account)... how people who pirate it will be able to play. Unless someone's crafty enough to "unlock" the game to be able to play offline? I dunno, just hope that there won't be any "cheaters" and try to flood the AH with dupe items and gold and the such.

Back home and finally installing the game. The Limited Edition guide is pretty beefy and will give me some nice reading material while waiting on servers to pop up. Apparently they aren't doing it midnight each time zone and US will launch at 12 am PDT. Blah.

Playing a Demon Hunter? I heard it was really affecting them the most. I did it with my barb the moment he was officially in my group and had no problems.

That'd be my next class. And yeah, it's limited to the Demon Hunter/Huntress build for the moment. I'm going in as a Monk first.

Already loving the fact that I have to sign in just to play by myself. I just want to play a little solo, but due to excellent design, I am unable to do so because of overloaded servers. Awesome. Maybe once the game lets me play, I will enjoy it. Next week.

This is basically my main gripe. Why there is no option for offline play is baffling.

I played a little today when one of those infamous "errors" just popped out of nowhere. At the very most, a "smooth" playtime will be next week when some players will get over the game.

Heh, probably follow that one dude who finished the game in 12 hours, "duct taping himself to a chair"[sic].

I'm amused to see people complaining about the lack of offline play, even though it was said shortly after D3 was announced that Blizzard was not allowing for any sort of offline or direct tcp/ip play like D2 had. This was coming guys, everyone should have expected it.

It was pretty hilarious to read all the reviews left on amazon and metacritic giving 1s because of the no offline mode as well as servers being unstable at launch. It's a Blizzard game... when are launches smooth with them? heh.

Now the most recent "bitch" is that some kid in Asia beat the normal mode in 7 hours. So therefore the game is now "too easy" and a "waste of $60". lol.

I've been having fun with it so far. I personally can't wait until Blizzard implements Battletags in place of Real ID soon... which is something they should have done in the first place instead of real first and last names, but meh.

Just beat the Skeleton King and put a Rare in my stash chest. BIG MONEY HERE I COME!!! (lewl)

So you guys have figured out that a DPS Demon Hunter with Bola Shot+Volatile Explosives turns normal acts 3 and 4 is joke mode right? I'm starting Nightmare tonight and am interested to see if it is still going to be useful.
