More Mega Drive stuff today, but it's A SPECIAL MEGA DAY.. DRIVE.
![]() MASTER SYSTEM CONVERTER. I'M STOKED. NOW I CAN DO EVERYTHING ON ONE SYSTEM. I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE OF THESE BLOODY THINGS SINCE 1996. It's so annoying having to hook both up and get the RF switches confused, that and the convertor lets you use the MD's pause button to like, you know, pause the game. Master System never had the luxury of a pause button on its controller, you'd have to go all the way over to the system. By that time you might have died! >=( The other stuff is just a bonus! I can't really remember much about Landstalker apart from the intro seeming to take hours. JAPANESE MOONWALKER, this calls for kawaii groin grabbing. I'm confused about Street Fighter though, using the Japanese Mega Drive logo, the cartridge is the same shape as a Japanese cart (which means it doesn't fit into a PAL unit without a convertor), yet it's apparently PAL format and the manual's english. It looks WAY too fancy to be a pirated copy! |

Snagged up a copy of Suikoden V at Game Stop a couple of days ago. So far, I gotta say I'm rather impressed. Within the first few hours it dawned on me that this one could be on par with the first two, and may even surpass them? That is yet to be seen. Anyways, it's a great game and I'm glad I picked it up, and for a mere $34!

Also, to add to the topic, my most recent purchase was Front Missions 1 through 3, on SNES and PSOne. Wonderful games...where the hell is part 5?! |
|
Commandos Collection (Commandos + add-on, Commandos 2, Commandos 3), Hitman Collection (Hitman 1, Hitman 2, Hitman 3), Tomb Raider Collection (1 to 6), Thief Collection (Thief 1, Thief 2), Thief 3.

Far Cry: Instincts - I was actually unaware that this was not the first game in the series >.> But I am really having fun with it. Will it hold me over until Crysis? Not a snowball's chance in hell.
Doom 3: As of now I have beaten it, and I think it sucks.

I did get Trauma Center: Under the Knife and played through the first chapter. Wow, this game is fun. This is as close as I'll ever get to blood, since I hate it. ![]() Also got a GC memcard. |
Hopefully you'll enjoy the pain which is getting used to the 2D/3D controls~ |

Finally got around to going to TRU and picked up a number of interesting games.
Drakengard 2 for $20, which I didn't even expect as it's not on the clearance list. Psychonauts, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Baten Kaitos for $15 each. I've heard tons of good things about Psychonauts, I suck at regular Ninja Gaiden, so I'm hoping Black will be easier, and Baten Kaitos because I hear it's pretty good, and I want a good Gamecube RPG. There were a number of other games I thought about buying, but I just ordered a PSP with Valkyrie Profile yesterday, so I'm already out quite the pretty penny. |

My recent purchases - Ninety Nine Nights, Dead Rising, and Madden 2007 all for XBOX360.
N3 - so far I like this game, plays similar to Dynasty Warriors, but has that next-gen feel to it. The music, and cinematics are great in this game. Gameplay is just your average hack and slash game. Its also impressive how many enemies it can handle on screen at once. Dead Rising - Good game, with a lot of fun elements. The atmosphere for this game, makes you feel as if you trapped inside the mall also. The game can get difficult, but its better then being too easy. The only bad thing I have against this game is the save option. You can only save in a few places (i.e. Bathroom, security room), and once you die then you have to start all over from the begining. Madden 2007 - Its just another sports game, but I love football and basketball games so I am sucked into buying the new version each year. |

I went way overboard on games this week, especially DS games. Needless to say, I don't see too many other games being bought in my future.
I bought six PS2 games this week, all at Circuit City. They had Jak X, Ratchet: Deadlocked, Shadow of the Colossus, and Sly 3 all on sale for $15, so I totally jumped on that offer. While there, I also saw The Getaway: Black Monday for $7, and since I already have the first one (though I haven't played it), I figured why not get it for this cheap. And finally, I saw Suikoden Tactics for $10, which also seemed like a good offer. As for DS games, I bought eleven of them this week. While at Circuit City, I saw Tony Hawk's American Sk8land for $20, so I got it just because. Also, earlier this week I ordered Electroplankton online for $35 (been wanting it for a while, since it looks pretty interesting, despite its flaws), so that should be coming soon. And I just bought Star Fox Command earlier today at best Buy for $30. The rest of the DS games I bought at Target, and they were all on clearance for $5-$15. Some of these games I don't actually care about, but I just bought them because they were cheap. All of these games are: Asphalt Urban GT Greg Hastings Paintball Tournament Max'd Pokemon Dash Rayman DS Retro Atari Classics Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 Ultimate Spider-Man World Poker Championship Deluxe Series Counting Electroplankton, I now have 43 DS games, which is way more than I expected to have for not even having the system for a year yet. ![]() Flashpoint

I bought La Pucelle, Gran Tourismo 4, and Shadow of the Colossus in Ontario. The total cost came to $63USD. I'm lucky that SotC doesn't have that ugly Greatest Hits tag, although GT4 obviously does
