The last game I purchased lies a while back now (I'm saving for a PS3) and it was S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Clear Skym, Collector's Edition. Had a lot of fun with Shadow of Chernobyl and at least the same amount of fun with Clear Sky, even though I haven't had the chance to play through it yet.

I picked up Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and Infinite Undiscovery last night. I've only played BK so far, but I'm wishing I had preordered it so I could have picked up the original BK on XBLA, too.

|
The past week I've picked up Tales of Symphonia 2, Eternal Poison and Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Sucks to be in Canada with the recession the exchange rates when ordering online blow hard and the price on games has gone up by 5 bucks on nearly everything.

I think you misunderstood, I don't really order newer games that can be found in stores online. The price in stores and on amazon.ca is generally the same and could possibly cost more online because of shipping. The only time I order is for collectibles, imports and games that you won't find in stores anymore. An example is when I was checking the price on DJ Max Portable a couple of days ago. $50 --> $65.

Apparently, I haven't posted here in a while... Haven't gotten too much, but might as well update.
Left 4 Dead - I heard many good things about this game, but didn't think I would pick it up so soon. My friends kinda forced me to get this since I don't actually own any 360 games that I could play with them as well. I don't regret the decision by any stretch, but it sucks that I just don't have enough time to play with them. Hell, if anyone from GFF wants to play L4D with me, given that I'm free, I'll be more than willing to join. Dance Dance Revolution Universe 3 - Finally managed to track down a used copy of this game. There was no way in hell that I was going to buy it new for $70. Instead, all I paid was $30 and I walked away happy. Biggest ambition getting this game was to do some HQ line-outs... Otherwise, looking at stepcharts on YouTube for this, it's probably one of the best versions to hit consoles in a while. Had to go out of my way to get this one though since the only used copy near me was a good 10 miles away. Hori Fighting Stick EX 2 - Finally broke down and bought it. I had some credit left over after I bought Universe 3 so I decided to finally get one. There were two Gamestops (in the same mall) that had one of these arcade sticks. I decided to go to the one where no one really noticed that they had it... I don't even think the employees noticed they had it. I had to ask a clerk to get it since it was high up on a shelf. When I asked him, I had to point it out to where it was... On top of all that, the price tag still had $60 on it. I was certain at that point no one touched it for ages. That meant it was perfect to buy since there weren't many hands dropping the product. Bought it for $50 since that's what the price dropped down to... After credit, I only had to pay $38. 26" Vizio LCD TV - Well, my parents bought it for me during Black Friday. I'm not complaining about it at all since I could finally play my games in HD. Why couldn't I before? The TV I was playing on was an 47" Vizio, but my dad had taken up all the slots for component cables. The 360 I have is a really old model... Near release date to be certain about it so it doesn't have an HDMI port... Not like it would've helped since my dad took up those as well... But the games look damn good on it. TEE VEE:
Overall, I had a good haul this past month. ![]() |

I picked up Soldier Collection and Parodius Portable in Japan, both for the PSP. Great stuff, although I tend to suck in Parodius. Gonna pick up L4D this weekend or something.
DN Theme postponed until I download the rest of the eps. My Backloggery |

With some (extremely late) birthday money I picked up Left 4 Dead and a headset to go with it. RedOctane had a good Cyber Monday deal (what a dumb as hell name), so I also snagged a Guitar Hero 3 Bundle for $30. Looks like holding off on getting any current-gen Guitar Hero paid off.

Picture was taken the other day. |

I was looking for cheap shit on Amazon (Sort by price, low to high, scroll past all the wrestling and sports games) and found Beowulf on 360 for £6 and Earth Defence Force 2017 also on 360 for £11. So I bought them both.
Beowulf because getting drunk and pretending to be a viking is fun and EDF because Phong seemed to like it. |
|
EDF lets you shoot Godzilla in the DICK. Everyone loves it!
Especially Godzilla. |

Spoiler:
They had Tales of Destiny 1 as well, but I already own it. I was really thinking about buying it though because my copy: Didn't come with a case, and can't get past the first "ending." Skies of Arcadia because I've been dreaming about playing it and Tales of Destiny II because well...I only liked old tales game (although tales of vesperia is coming along quite nicely) and this is one of them :3 ![]() |

I purchased Odama for Gamecube, brand new for five dollars. Personally, I picked up since I hadn't played the game and the concept seemed intriguing. When I played it though, it seemed kind of awkward, keep in mind I only played about an hour or so. Still, I'm intending to play a bit more.
I guess this counts as a "game purchase" since It's only being used for gaming. I purchased a 22" LG Monitor for my Xbox 360, it cost $230. The quality is excellent, however there is a back light bleed which is kind of annoying. Regardless I'm happy with the purchase; I have to purchase a new VGA cable for my Xbox though. The current one I own was a cheap cable, it started out working fine, however now it outputs an awkward signal where it makes the picture look like it's "doubled" in some cases. An annoyance, but it is the price I pay for cheaping out on the official VGA cables. ![]() I guess that's why I was born, to recognize the beauty of a roses thorn |

Bought a 42" HDTV (Christmas gift, actually), a PS3 (that too), and a bunch of games (I bought the games, though).
Currently plowing through Rainbow Six: Vegas, but I'm also playing Valkyria Chronicles (amazing) and Grand Theft Auto 4 (disappointing). I also ended up getting Tom Clancy's EndWar, but I don't plan on installing it until I upgrade my hard drive. |
|
Fucking awesome Christmas haul there, man.
Don't forget to post your eventual PSN tag in the thread in the multiplayer subforum above, there. That goes for anyone else who nabbed a new console this year too~ ![]() |

Welp, I guess you could consider this a 'Christmas Gift', even though I paid for it myself. I had a bit of help [which is where the gift part comes in], so I'll count it anyway: I picked up a Samsung 32" HDTV [the 450-series model], and it's beautiful. :3
I also got Beautiful Katamari, but pretty much only because I don't have any of the other Katamari titles, and I love the games. |
