GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

True enough -- I forgot about Newegg prices. They're always quite low.

Has anybody played Pursuit Force yet?
My massive library of 3 games has gotten a little stale (aside from Lumines), and unlike most PSP games, this game isn't just a port. I was pretty much sold by the video where your character jumps from one car to another, but I was wondering if anyone who actually owns the game could either recommend buying it or staying away from it. ![]() waaait this isn't NES! |

I picked up Samurai Warriors: State of War for PSP today, and although I didn't play Dynasty Warriors (PSP version), from what I've played of this game so far, it is GREAT.
-19 Upgradable characters. -Tons of scrolls (abilities) to unlock. -No slowdown, no long load times. -Widescreen (not boxed off) And compared to what I recently played of Dynasty Warriors 4 (PS2), you can kill enemies a lot faster in this game, which is very satisfying. I love just barrelling into a group of baddies and slaughtering in several strikes, then triggering the musou. The "short battles" system is fun, too. I like strategically moving my character across the grid-system map and totally wiping out the opponent's generals and supply depots one by one. Fun fun fun. |
I have the demo that PSU sent me and its pretty fun, the difficulty can see a bit uneven at some parts but its fun (might get a bit repetitive). Make sure you remap the controls for any of the helicopter gun scenes though, its a bitch to do with analog stick. |
...however, I'm going to wait to see a price drop (or find it used). I can't really justify a 40 dollar purchase for a puzzle platformer at the moment. If it was 30, I might consider it. |

It says that its coming out tomorrow. i called this store in downtown (from where i live) saying that they'll get it in 3 weeks. eh..gay. i'll just get it somewhere else.
Question : anyone know when tales of eternia is coming out? and how is it different than the psx version? ![]() |

If a game's release date is 3/14, that's actually its ship date. Stores like EB and GameStop receive it the next day. Megaman Powered Up! will be in stores Wednesday the 15th.

It's only going to be out in Japan and Europe (and Australia). I just ordered it off eBay for around 50 bucks (but I'd recommend getting it from NCSX, since they just restocked and they ship from NYC). |

I was about to say, Tales of Eternia has been out here for a while now (Like JazzFlight said). I bought Breath of Fire III instead though. I've never played any of the Tales games (Few were released here) whereas I have many, many happy memories of BoF3.
A nice addition for the PSP verison is you can play the fishing sub-game straight from the main menu and game share it with someone else's PSP. Multiplayer fishing antics, fucking awesome and worth the asking price alone I think. ![]() |
