Very nice

Is there a rumble feature built into the controller. I imagine having eerie sounds and screams pop out of the controllers speakers is going to be loads of fun.

I gotta tell you guys, i'm on the verge of getting up and jumping up and down and squeling like a little girl.

This has been on my wish list ever since Resident Evil 5 was announced. The fact that that article doesn't specify if it will follow the lead storyline or not is a little disturbing. I can just imagine capcom throwing some Dead Aim related/type crap at Nintendo to shut them up. When i find out if it's truley RE5 only then will i be able to sleep easy again.

I thought RE5 was for ps3/360..

Bleh..seriously..They should make something different for each of the new consoles..

And we all thought RE4 was just for Gamecube. Anything can happen with Capcom.

Wii is a pumped-up Gamecube, it will never reach the capabilities of the XBOX360 or PS3.

My money's on a spin-off.

....................damn.

I forgot about that little detail.

Well then, if it's a spin off, i hope it's something half decent. None of this Outbreak crap, no Dead Aim jonkey, i want something that fits in with the lead story line. Maybe a story involving Barry, or hey, give Wesker his own game.

Maybe they'll release two lead story games at the same time, one for Wii, and one for ps3 and X360. Then afer a while, work at porting the two across the platforms so eventually we'll have both on all three. Farfetched i know, but i can still dream.

It could be RE5. It wasn't shown at any of the Sony's or MS's confrences as far as I know.

Well, that sounds like a pretty vague description. I wonder what kind of a game it will be. I hope it uses the controls better than RE DS, that "remix" mode with touch pad support seemed like it was kinda slapped in there at the last minute.

I'm hoping it's not RE5, but a Resident Evil game that they put a comparable amount of effort into, something that takes advantage of the Wii's capabilities. Flashlights, torches, guns, knives, sticks, whatever. Something more along the lines of Sadness
Y'know, where it actually feels like a survival horror game instead of an action game with not enough ammo. Resident Evil is cool, but it's frankly not nearly as cool as it could be.
