Moth's submission's in.

This prompt was wonderfully sappy and dramatic, Dekoa. Please never use it again. It comes down to how many in-jokes the author knows about GFF rather than writing skill, and if we're going to do that, than really; what's the point of the anonymous submission tactic?

If wanted, I could get another prompt for you three seeing as how You guys weren't "Inspired" enough.

I sort of want this round to end; it seems like everyone is kind of running out of steam. I'll let the others speak for themselves, though; I'll relent if they both want to start over.

Of course, it should all be up to Rollins, as the only one who didn't miss the...second... deadline. This match could already be over, even. Gasp.

I worked some more on my story last night, then decided it sucked so horribly that there was no way to repair it. Also, it's only 800 words long at this point.

I say just roll with what Rollins and Moth submitted. It really isn't fair to the ones who turned something in when deadlines get extended. I speak from experience. I shouldn't be in this final round anyway. I auto-advanced every round but one, which maybe is why I feel no excitement about writing this story. I enjoyed writing the other ones, but not this one.

Carry on without me.

I feel that if I said I just want to win now, it would be marked with an asterisk.

Not that many people come here anymore =/ I feel like it's just us four pretty much.

In any case, since a victory by default really isn't that much of a victory, I'll be willing to take the loss to Moth, sure.

For what it's worth, I think both you and Moth are fantastic writers. I've enjoyed reading your stories, and everyone who didn't bother to really missed out on some surprisingly good stuff.

I think we can have 3 winners this round, you three are the best writers of them all. I really appreciate the time you guys have spent to participate in this tournament. I just wanna know if we should do this again in the middle of the Summer.

Nuh-uh. No. If we have to work our way through your horribly trite GFF prompt, than we are not going to put up with your sappy little "It looks like we have three winners this round" bullshit.

Now someone help me harass Alice to write a damn story, and let's start this round.

Ok then, Here is the Game plan. Moth and Rollins, You have as much time as allotted till Alice gets her story done to revise your story.

Alice, I'm going to set another Maxim of one more week. If needed, I'll rope in some help to get you motivated.

I will only assume that things have not gone according to plan considering that it's been a week a no one else has posted. I find it fitting that the contest ends this way, assuming it ends this way. It's poetic.

The War of the Words is dead.
The final stories never read.
To where is the future led?

So, when's the next one. If no one's noticed, the summer (at least in vacation sense, anyway) is almost half-over. If there's going to be a summer contest (I remember someone saying that), the sign-up will have to start soon.
