Honestly, I don't give a rat's ass if you think they have a stupid name or if they have weird interests. They are new members just like you were at one point. Give them a chance to adjust to our posting style here before you scare them off.

There's nothing wrong with giving tips or pointers, just try to do it in a helpful, friendly way rather than being abusive.

Seriously. This is something that's been a problem lately. Member has a Pokemon avatar and 6 people call him a "useless furry". Fighting ensues. Member is called out for acting like a douche. Member leaves.

Guys, we're not saying that EVERYONE is going to be a great member but we gotta give these kids a chance to prove themselves to either be good members or useless halfwits. I have no problem with people calling bullshit when they see it but this paranoia that we're somehow letting THE FLOOD into our house with every new member is getting out of hand.

Well depends on our focus.

Whereas your aims are merely focused on a desire to see assumedly grown men cry as if their favorite toy has been lost, I would think a more appropriate aim is to assimilate a horde of unwavering loyalist minions to ravage the reaches of space and time.
