You know that feeling you get after finishing a book? Y'know, like you're kind of accomplished, and a little bit smarter?

That's how I felt after reading the introduction.

Good luck, guys!

Not necessarily. I for one was more concerned with how the Black Market works. If I were to visit, and get an artifact, I'd be much less tempted to go back if I couldn't relinquish the one I already had. The odds are already only 50/50 that something good would happen, and if you take getting an artifact/switching the artifact you have out of that equation, I'd be less likely to chance it.

It's better to clear up all questions now, before potential situations arise, because asking questions like that on Day 2 or 3 would make it appear you have somthing to hide.

For sake of simplicity, I'm going to rule that players cannot relinquish possession of Artifacts.

In all but the most dire cases, I can't even imagine why one would wish to in the first place.

Double Post:
Also:

I still need to receive actions from:

One of the High Priests
Both Ambassadors

The deadline approaches. Tuesday, September 5th, at 9:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time.
Players who don't get their actions in by then lose them for the night.

My post was just a joke, not a terribly good one, but a joke all the same. But your clarification makes sense, though i probably still would've posted how i did.

It's almost time; I'm so excited to get this thing started!

Also, I had a dream that Crash said something like, "Okay, I gave you guys a lot of time for Night 1, so from now on, each day/night is exactly 16 hours."

I thought it was a bit harsh, personally.

If you're having dreams about Werewolf, you're just a little too obsessed.

Still, I'm looking forward to having something to read and post in at work tomorrow. Screw job applications, Werewolf is where it's at.

Maybe it implies he's a seer?

Yes, let's ask someone who we know to be offline. Just wait. He might be writing the story for it and plotting one's gruesome death.

It is quite possible the storyline is being worked on.

One mustn't rush perfection.

EDIT: Argh, Lukage beat me to it.

Yeah, that was just the deadline for everyone to get their actions in anyway, not the time the game would actually continue. Of course, I doubt Crash would have us waiting that long to continue the game.

I'm going to get my drunken post out of the way now before the accusations officially start. I'm the Godzilla, so nobody evict me from the island, okay? Or else I'll shoot my laser beams at your babies.

9:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time? EDT is GMT+/-??

With GMT+8 here, it's pretty hard to keep up with the opposite day/night timezone.

Also, first time playing~ =o

The deadline has passed and although I didn't receive all the Night actions, I won't keep 95% of the players waiting any longer. Sorry, but there's too many people to leave hanging while we wait for one dawdler.

The Story!

New moons were always anathema to Old Cairo. The time-worn, earthen dwellings comprised the homes of the impoverished, the near-hopeless, the ones who clung to superstition because academics were too expensive. You could see their dark, sullen eyes gazing out the curtainless windows at night, paying unheard tributes to the sanctity of their clay walls, giving thanks that they, at least, had someplace to be instead of outside, exposed to the curses of old.

Shin and Chaotic had someplace to be as well, and they were frantically rushing. The port side of Old Cairo was renowned for its toughs, brazen thugs who boldly robbed men and women of their belongings under the moonlight. The New moon only granted these cutpurses an extra veil of surprise. Shin and Chaotic meant to make swift haste to the train terminal to catch the last shuttle uptown.

The air was crisp, deprived of the sun's nurturing, and Chaotic could feel his chest burn. Years of harsh winds filled with fine grains of sand and debris had taken its toll on Chaotic,
