Werewolf 9: Sinister Intent
A pall has come over a secluded village.
Corpses, mutilated and shredded beyond recognition, have been found in peoples' homes, the only clues to their murderers being bits of fur near the scene, or a canine tooth. Crime runs rampant, with the Mafia moving in and taking over trade. A brothel, home of sin and debauchery, has opened in the town square, and every night, the lustful moans of its occupants can be heard a mile away. Yet, not all is lost. The Mayor of the town has increased recruitment and training of new police officers to record levels, and has even gone so far as to bring in aid from the nearby villages. Meanwhile, other denizens of the distraught village have formed their own militia, arming themselves with weapons legal and illegal as they patrol the streets at night, alert for any suspicious behavior. Shamans, once thought to be fools that didn't know luck from a hole in the wall, have proven their value as their prayers to the spirits have saved several villagers from certain death. As the sun falls on the village once more, those who go bump in the night leave their caves and safe-houses, while those who bump back prepare themselves with kevlar and silver-plated bullets. Changes and Other Info: Returning from Game 8 are the "Lucky Stiffs." These people have no active powers, but once they are targeted for lynching or murder by either the Vigilante, Werewolves, or Mafia, they are saved from their fate and their role is revealed to the world. Also, due to an error on my part, I feel I must make a clarification before the game starts: The Mysterious Strangers have already been integrated into the role counts. It is now Night One. I await actions from Shamans, Seers, the Infiltrator, the Devil, the Spy, Werewolves, and the Mafia. Also, due to... "renovations" being made to the brothel, the Two-Timing Whore will NOT be accepting any suitors tonight. ![]()

Three comments before we start:
1.) a_lurker appears twice in your list 2.) Zeroslash signed up on Sep 26, 2006, 10:43 AM (GMT+8) in the signup thread, but I don't see him anywhere. 3.) Your total roll call for good and evil amounts to 10 evil players (less ? infiltrators) and 25 good players (with ? infiltrators). Player listing, including a_lurker dupe, amounts to 37 players. 2 roles missing, and 3 mysterious strangers (which you already incorporated to the counts)... unless there are TWO infiltrators here :O Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff

Alright, I goofed a bit, I admit. I took that list from the sign-ups thread, which had a lurker's name twice. As to Zero, I REALLY goofed there. I did not notice his sign-up, and did not add his name to the list of players, and as such, he was not handed out a role.
I will immediately rectify this. However, you miscounted the number of players. There are 35, not 37. ![]()

Haha, not a problem. This just conflicted with the information I had in my nice little spreadsheet, so it stood out a bit.
So, ten against twenty-seven. Give or take an infiltrator or two. Interesting odds. Be kind. Don't kill or lynch a new player on round one okay? ![]() Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff

That, ladies and gentlemen, is an example of my writing style failing. I flit around from place to place after I get the initial outline done, and add detail here and there, instead of just going on in one path. In that case... well, I meant to add more detail and forgot. ![]() ![]() |

With the deck stacked so much in our favour, it will be embarrassing us to lose.

GAHH. ._.
I think I see what happened now... Frikkin' a. I goofed up when I copy + pasted the list of players. Alright, give me a few minutes to see who didn't get a role, and I'll post a revised list. The list of numbers will NOT be changed to reflect this, however. EDIT: Well, looking back at the list you posted, and the list of players and their roles I compiled, Brent and Helloween did NOT receive a role. I deeply apologize for this. Can I get a bit of slack because it's my first time modding this? ^^;;; ![]()

So they're confirmed townies then?

Brent: No, you are not invincible. You are as targetable as any person in the game Night 1. However, I highly discourage ANYBODY checking both of them because of a mistake on my part. It was completely random, and it could've happened to anybody.
RABicle: The numbers will not be changed to reflect the addition of Brent and Helloween, unless they are lynched or killed. Period. They can be a Seer, a Vigilante, a Lucky Stiff, anything. ![]() |

Ok then so we can rule out them being Seers, Vigliantes and Lucky stiffs. Cheers.

loool
Make them Mysterious Strangers. Non-targettable in Night 1, since you already included Shin, Butchere, and Crash in the tally. Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff

How about everyone gets new roles, because this game has basically been spoiled? No offense to Griffin, everyone goofs.
I think that would be the fairest solution. ![]() [ Bernard "Owl" Schmidt ] |

I wouldn't exactly called the game spoiled, but it could conceivably compromise the roles of Zeroslash, Brent, and Helloween. At least, we now know what they are not.
If these gents don't have any problem with this, however, I think we could still salvage this game ![]() Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff
