Wait a minute. Now I'm confused. Was RockgamerXIII and Yeldarb assigned any modding spots? I don't understand why I'd be the only person on the list. I thought it was general consensus that RockgamerXIII was at least modding the next game.

Just wanted to say that I will probably try to mod another game at some point during summer. University ends at the end of April and starts at the end of august, so pretty much anywhere in-between is ok with me.
|
|
Here's how I see the list:
Werewolf XIII-RockgamerXIII Werewolf XIV-Yeldarb or Identity Crisis Werewolf XV-Yeldarb or Identity Crisis or ? That's all the people have been saying as to anything of a list. The last two are vague on who is going to mod. =/ |
|
Yeldarb pretty much described the order I thought we were going at. RockgamerXIII definitely needs to moderate the next game. He already has the plans for it in his journal.
Yeldarb and I can figure out who among us is going to moderate Werewolves 14 and 15 while RockgamerXIII is holding his game. ![]() Backloggery -=- Because no one demanded it!

Well then, if 13, 14 and 15 are taken, and I don't think any other games have been scheduled so far, I'd be willing to take 16. Unless something like each game lasting one week happens, my finals should be over by then. Worst case scenario, the game is delayed a week or so. Additionally, if many people have finals at that time, I might delay the game a bit too since people might be too busy to play. We'll see.

I've been thinking for a bit about a Werewolf theme. My first attempt at modding was to get the feel of how the game worked, and to get used to the standard roles. My ultimate plan was to eventually mod a Phoenix Wright themed game, and while I've given up plans of MODDING it, I've been thinking of roles and such, and I'm quite excited about the possibilities, including new roles. I haven't finalized everything yet, but here's what I *do* have so far for roles:
Good: Phoenix Wright: Can see one person each night, and choose one person each day to protect from lynching. Miles Edgeworth: Receives all detectives' reports, but does not know who the detectives are and also receives the fools' reports. The Judge: Can incarcerate one person each day for one day, rendering them unable to act or be acted upon. Can not incarcerate a person for more than one day in a row. Dick Gumshoe: Fool whose killer's name is revealed (if killed). Officer Meekins: Fool. Officers: Masons. Detectives: Seers who do not know each others' role. Evil: Viktor von Karma: Evil seer who acts on his own. Also has the ability to fabricate evidence, befuddling his target's role for one day and one night. When a target is befuddled, his role retains the same active properties, but everybody else sees it as something different. The false role is randomly selected by ChocoDecide, and may fail (i.e. the target's original role is included in the seed). Escaped Convicts: Mafia, assigned a unique name for each member (i.e. their role names are the criminals from past games: Ini Miney, Richard Wellington, Ken Dingling (Acro the Acrobat), Matt Engarde, Frank Sahwit, Redd White, Dee Vasquez, Yanni Yogi) Morgan Fey: Evil Seer who works with the convicts. I'm still hammering out the details, but I'm hoping that somebody uses my idea sometime... and if not, then given enough time I'll step up to mod again. After I have a few more games under my belt, of course. ![]() |

Seeing that RockgamerXIII's game looks like it's coming to a close, would it be fine if I went ahead and started the sign-up thread for Werewolf 14 to get things moving along? Five people are going to be killed off in today's lynching (one due to, well, majority vote and the others due to inactivity).

So, I was just reading Wizard & Glass, and I was thinkin. . . wouldn't a Dark Tower Werewolf be AWESOME?
I mean, we could all go about telling each other that "YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN THE FACE OF YOUR FATHER" and shit. Plus, the Hambry scenario might make for interesting gameplay. Problem is, I'd never be able to keep up with the writing requirements for running a game, so someone else extremely familiar with the world would need to run it. But I'm happy to be an idea guy. |
If anyone else was in line, please re-speak up about it for dibbs after IC. Links (Updated 6/21) ...start puttin' 'em in a bowl... ![]() |

Well, I had already said I would be taking game 16, since I think someone had already taken 15, but if that has opened up, then I suppose I could mod 15 instead.
It should be... interesting. By the way, Identity Crisis is the mod for the current game.

Indeed, it makes things uninteresting at best, confusing at worst.
This is part of the reason I decided against doing "Dr. Strangewolf, Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb". That, and I couldn't work everything out.

Oh, and the Hambry thing could be easily explained to people by having them download the comic. I mean, yeah, an hour's worth or less of reading's more than some people'd be willing to do but, you know. |
But yeah, even if it's only a bit of reading there's still the question of whether or not everyone will find it very interesting. |
|
Go ahead and rent Strangelove, it's an excellent movie, but you won't see any relation with werewolf. As I said, I couldn't make it work well enough, which is the main reason I decided not to do that.
In any case, is anyone still taking game 15, or can I take it? |

Butchere, were you the one who wanted to put good and evil 'gods' in the game?
