All I need is for one of the seers to check you to prove I'm right, Guru. I don't have to argue to win.

Alrighty, I think we're getting close to a numerical victory by good (though it can backfire by a vig killing a hunter). I'm not sure if Ratty cursed me or not, but I assume he might have based on his post. As such, I outline a proposed strategy.

1. Vigilante should kill Brent tonight, confirmed a werewolf by LZ.
2. The seers should check one of the following: Guru, Jochie, Rockgamer.
3. The remaining shaman should protect LZ or Kilroy. If I don't die today, I'll protect Kilroy tonight.
4. If Brent is still alive tomorrow, we lynch him real good.

Sounds good?

It seems I haven't voted yet. Let's see... Who to vote for, who to vote for...

I think I shall vote for YeOldeButchere. Yes. I think, I think I will. Such a good idea.

Yes yes yes.
Have I got a bombshell for you tonight, kids!

Quote:
The morning was met with the sparse chirping of birds and the distant clatter of hooves upon parched earth. As ever before, Atrox's men were out terrorizing the burgs and filching what meager trinkets weren't already collecting dust in the usurper king's vault.

There was a thickness in the air that morn. The winds were still and the plains hot. It drew unease from the guards and the horses echoed this feeling in their skittishness. Indeed, something was amiss.

And so it was, the crowd had gathered pre-dawn, unanimous (except for one) in their sacrifice. There would be no senseless loss of life that day, no shakedowns for tarnished baubles. A tall and stout man lay bound and gagged in the square. The free citizens stood in wait.

Caught off guard, Atrox's men were. They weren't quite used to such resolve and such...wakefulness in the peasants. But being a tax collector during times of reluctant peace is a dull profession and the opportunity to run a brigand through was rare. No words were exchanged, nor did they need to be. One of the guards hurled knkwzrd over his saddle and trotted off into the thickets.

The villagers all went back to their homes. They didn't even linger to hear the unmistakable whoosh as knkwzrd's body was used as target practice for over three-hundred arrows. His body was left tied to the tree, where it was later picked clean by coyotes and the skeleton humped twice by a lonely, deranged druid.

Also, Kilroy's head exploded.

Spoiler:
knkwzrd, a Werewolf, is lynched and William Told, er, Telled.
Kilroy, a Seer, falls victim to the Warlock's curse.
Vote Tally
YeOldeButchere - 2
knkwzrd - Everyone Else

That was possibly the easiest lynching so far. I was wondering how long you'd all let knk survive.

So Crash is in the hospital now. Guess this means I can call this game in the name of good.

I think he's going to have a laptop and possibly internet access, so he may be able to moderate it from there. But who knows. Maybe the game will be delayed indefinitely, or he can turn over the info to someone else. We'll see!

Aw, what happens? Get well, Mr. Crash.

Meh. I'll probably get lynched today anyway, knowing you practical geniuses, but it's no big deal. I still want that Battle Royale themed game, though. That way I can type a sentence and then I will type something redundant because redundant statements are typed after statements that make the latter statement seem redundant, and that's what reading Battle Royale was like for me. (Also, Speed Racer jokes, if you like.)

Yeah, I'm in the hospital now. But I don't need to suspend the game or anything. Last time I was ill, I made some noise and now there's wi-fi for the adolescent and adult patients. I just needed a couple days to adjust to the routine and get some rest.

The game marches on!

Quote:
The Wolves slunk quietly from corner to corner, between darkened alleys and under the security of the murkiest shadows. Stealth was of the utmost necessity, as all eyes would be pealed for furry traitors that night, now that the Mafia's slimy presence had been eradicated.

There was no particular quarry in mind; anyone who drew unwittingly too close to a shrub or doorway would suffice. The villagers' spirits had been bouyed by a peculiar run of good luck and timing and their guards were down. This would be a great night to strike fear into their hearts once more.

Indeed, a lean, juicy looking chap was drawing near, appearing slightly inebriated and oblivious. The Wolves calculated several trajectories, cracked their knuckles, flossed and poised themselves for the pounce.

And that was when the big rock fell from the rooftop. Hard. Right on top of the wolf pack. Most of them scattered with only a few lost tail hairs or bruises to show, but one wasn't quite as fortunate. He scattered also...in several directions...at once.

The remaining Werewolves, their secrecy compromised, fled for the sanctity of the hills. Their intended prey ran for the sanctity of the tavern...again.

And the Vigilante did a little dance.

Spoiler:
Brent, a Werewolf, was killed by the Vigilante.

Another awesome strike by the Vigilante. And the Werewolves didn't turn in a kill. I'm a bit shocked by that. I probably would've accepted a late submission since I was tied up myself, but it's Good's lucky break, I suppose.

It's still a little soon to call the game in favor of Good, but it's getting close.

DAY FIVE BEGINS

Since the game was on hold and it's the weekend, I'll give everyone until 11:59 PM EDT, Monday September 10th to cast their vote.

So get voting!
