GFF is a hellhole full of elitists who chat about everything EXCEPT games. We have a team of dedicated moderators who will ban your ass on the slightest provocation, constant member-organized activities that you are not allowed to participate in, and plenty of custom features, including our unique journal system where you can post entries that will be completely ignored. If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ or our GFWiki. You will have to register before you can post. Although membership is completely free (and gets rid of the pesky advertisement unit underneath this message) we do not recommend that you sign up, because you will get kicked in the nuts repeatedly.

Sadly, some people here are a little mean like that. I got killed on night one in my first game too so I know how frustrating it can be.
So the question now is, who do we think is enough of an arsehole to have killed off a brand new player on night one? As there's only two mafia players, it'll be a miracle if we pick one out on day one but I think their choice of target gives us more clues than we normally get for a first day lynching. I'd suggest that it would be someone fairly new to the game themselves, perhaps unaware of the unwritten "Don't kill new players on night one" convention. Also, it would make sense for it to be someone who knows Rollins elsewhere on the boards. If you were just going to pick someone at random, I suspect there's higher profile members who'd get picked. Which leads to the possibility that it's someone with a penchant for choco-decide. Sadly Rollins has no journal. I was going to look at the Who's Commented stats for likely candidates. A simple search for "Rollins" throws up a few posts by knkwzrd but I doubt he'd go for a new player on night one. Of the obvious candidates for a day one lynching, Dekoa isn't playing and Amariot Akago or Smelnik would be more likely to have a grudge against someone that got them killed before. I'm going to give this some more thought but I genuinely think we've got a fighting chance of at least trying to avoid the useual bullshit bandwagon jumping on day one. |
Also rotten that a newb got killed immediately. I bet someone like Smel did it since he doesn't know better, but I might be jumping to his name due to Shin's theories so I"m not going to vote for him yet. |

Since nobody is voting, I shall start.
![]() Edit ![]() Let's try this again. Whoever makes Post # 31 in this thread gets my vote! Bwahaha, the double-post automerge feature is going to foil you, Mr. Rollins, and night owl Tritoch isn't quite likely to post this early kekeke

Huzzah!
Oh, wait a minute. Edit: I couldn't resist. Just grabbing whatever fun from the game I can ;p |
|
I'm not, am I? Silly Zerg, stop voting for dead people!
|
Anyway, day one voting must commence! Zergrinch for now, since I'm already on his list from the last game. I'll probably change it later. ![]() |

Hmmm, guess I should vote too then.
For the record Shin, I'm not one to hold a grudge; I'm merely out to target those that matter in the here and now; the past is shit to me. In that regard, you were pretty quick to suspect me and several others... do you have something to hide, perhaps? Shin it is. ![]() Anime lover, gamer, and dreamer

I'm actually not inclined to believe that Shin's evil. So, using the beauty of closing my eyes and picking randomly, I vote for...
Tritoch? ...Fuck, that doesn't work. Let's see... uhh... a_lurker. *shrug* Nothing personal, just random chance (and as random as it gets without using ChocoDecide, I just closed my eyes and randomly highlighted a name). ![]() |

voting for Zergrinch you are not cool if you are not in that list of his it seems, to be honest my reason to vote is completely random is day 1 I don't have good arguments here.

That Domino guy seems really quiet. Seems to me like he's involved in some shady goings-on! =O

I also agree with this "I'm on his list so I should vote for him logic," so I also cast m vote for Zerg.
And about the new player thing, I can't say I totally disagree with it. especially since it did wind up being a helpful move for the Mafia (no different than if a Vigilante killed a new player on the first night and it turned out that that person was Werewolf), but it does suck. If I was gonna make a suggestion (and I think this was done before), I would say that we make it a standing rule that all new players should be Mysterious Strangers in their first game. I know it throws more suspicion on them, but at least it guarantees them safety for the first night. |

I'll be voting for Zergrinch today too. All of the other choices that are running through my head for a first day vote aren't very sound (i.e. random, post above me, first alphabetically, last alphabetically, favorite pastry, looks similar to silhouette I saw last night, etc.), and I might as well join a bandwagon rather than toss a vote away in some other direction.
Plus, I might make the list! =o Backloggery -=- Doctor, doctor! -=- DD!
