Plarom, you evil bastard.

How dare you offer fresh sandwiches when you know Ron hasn't restocked on ketchup packets yet. We can't eat them without the king of condiments!

Quote:
Dullenplain's life had finally taken a turn for the better. As a Wal-Mart truck driver by day and a hired gun for the same company at night, he didn't get much time home with his family, and lately his lupus had been getting worse. That's why Dullenplain was thrilled when he was approached by an agent of Wolfe, Inc., offering him a handsome cash compensation, and best of all, health insurance, in exchange for a few “favors”. All he had to do was sign the contract that had been drawn up, and he was in.

In the meantime, he still had a job to do for Wal-Mart. He and his partner had developed a diabolical plan in which they would poison a shipment of ketchup headed for the House of Meat. After careful research, Dullenplain had decided thallium would be the most effective contaminant. The element is odorless and tasteless, and slow acting enough that the townspeople might not figure out immediately why they were getting sick and where the problem originated. Widespread panic would ensue, and Wal-Mart could swoop in and pick up the pieces.

Dullenplain had already delivered his load of ketchup to the House of Meat, and was driving back to the warehouse for the evening. The road was dark and no other cars were in sight; Dullenplain was starting to nod off behind the wheel when a one of his tires blew with a loud bang. He struggled to control his rig as it skidded to stop on the shoulder. Checking the damage should have been a simple matter, but as Dullenplain stepped from the cab, a filthy hippie jumped from the shadows and clubbed him on the back of the head. “Anyone who does business with the House of Meat deserves death!” the hippie yelled, then set about painting graffiti on the side of the truck.

At least Dullenplain didn't have to worry about his lupus anymore.
Spoiler:
Wolfe, Inc. tries to recruit Dullenplain, one half of Team Wal-Mart, but fails because the Hippies kill him.

Quote:
The night shift at the House of Meat had been quiet so far; at least no one had died yet, but that would soon change. knkwzrd was taking a break with a heaping pile of fresh french fries and assorted fried meats, but he needed a large amount of ketchup to complete the meal. As he couldn't find any ketchup around the break room, he opened up a box of the freshly delivered ketchup and consumed massive quantities of crimson goodness. As tasty as his fried delicacies were, something wasn't right about the ketchup. He put a note on the newly delivered boxes: “DO NOT USE (until I figure out what's wrong with these) – knkwzrd”.

With a full belly, knkwzrd returned to work, ready to deal with whatever came his way. What came his way was trouble, in the form of an angry customer. “How am I supposed to eat this food without ketchup? I demand ketchup now!” screamed the man. knkwzrd calmly responded, “I'm sorry sir, but we're all out of ketchup tonight. I'll be happy to get you some steak or barbecue sauce.” The increasingly irate man was turning red in the face. “Damn it! Why can I never get decent service in this place!” he bellowed and shook angrily. When he shook his head, the angry man's sunglasses fell from his face, and knkwzrd stepped back in startled recognition. “You're that crazy dude that killed the Health Inspector last night! I'm calling the police!”

His cover blown, the Secret Shopper had no choice but to silence knkwzrd and make a run for it. He pulled a small dagger from sleeve and stabbed knkwzrd in the neck, then ran for the nearest exit. “I expect better service the next time I come here,” the Shopper shouted as his tires squealed out of the parking lot.
Spoiler:
Team Wal-Mart and the Secret Shopper kill knkwzrd, a Shift Supervisor.

Well, it could have been worse for good. Only 2 deaths tonight, and Wolfe, Inc. was deprived of a valuable acquisition. Since Wolfe never communicated with Dullenplain (I didn't tell him he was recruited because I knew he was dead), and Wolfe was penalized because they didn't get a kill, I'll let them try to recruit again another night if they chose to.

Smelnick failed to send in a kill before the deadline, and several other players missed actions as well. Just so you know who to blame.

Ew, Darkcomet.

A Few Points:

1. The secret shopper is dumb as a rock.

2. Guru, you've pretty much acted the fool for a while. If you come across any checks coming out as 'good', by all means, please tell us who as this person will always be evil. Heck, why don't you share who you've been checking these past 3 nights and tell us who were 'good'?

3. Crash Landon started the Smelnick bandwagon. I want to know why. Your explanation satisfies my curiousity.

4. Garr, you voted against Plarom, a confirmed ex-lucky stiff. I want to know why. I'll let you off for now, but my eye's on you!

5. What a waste of Smelnick's golden opportunity. nuttyturnip DID mention that the vote should be in by the end of the night, but technically speaking, shouldn't the picketers protest during the day?

This is why:

It looks like he's actually criticizing the bandwagon for not killing a good player. But the bandwagon almost did; had Plarom not been a Lucky Stiff, a good player would've indeed been killed. (Though I didn't vote for him.) In that light, Smelnick's words carry a tone of disappointment.

However poorly worded, Smelnick's statement was there to be scrutinized. I kept looking at it, asking myself "Well, shouldn't he seem much happier? Why would Smelnick want a good guy lynched?"

Obviously, he didn't and just wasn't expressing himself well. But at the time, it was something that didn't fit, so I brought attention to it. Smelnick didn't explain himself well and the bandwagon gained strength. Only knkwzrd tried to offer a defense for Smelnick's odd statement, and now he's dead too.

That's why I voted for Smelnick.

4. Garr, you voted against Plarom, a confirmed ex-lucky stiff. I want to know why.
The reason behind that vote will probably be pretty lame to a lot of you guys, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I was, and still am not 100% sure who's good and who's evil in this game. So instead of hopping on any bandwagons, I chose to vote Plarom because the only other vote was himself. Since his power has already been played out, I didn't see any harm in voting for him. Pretty much a waste of a vote, yeah, but like I said before, it seemed like a good idea to vote for him before I actually did.

I am sure that this explanation will not satisfy you guys, but it's all I've got.

"Hey! You're that special ops they sent in behind enemy lines, aren't you? What did they call you... The 'Bionic Commando'. I sure hope your results are better than that name!"

Where are all the dramatic accusations and stunning abuses of democracy? I expected action by now!

Fine then, I'm going to point an over-sized foam finger at Nazpyro. Why? Let's look at the court record his voting record.

Day 1 - He voted for shadoweave, a new player. Just a tad evil to kill someone new that early and not change his vote after someone else pointed that out.

Day 2 - First he said this:

Either he's lazy or thinks he can get away with no justification at all on the second day. I disapprove of both. Even "Bandwagon, yo" would have been acceptable, but nay, he declined to give any reason. His incriminating actions didn't end there, though. He later switched his vote to LZ despite Guru's accusation being called into question.
