Werewolf XIX: Werewolf Games

Note: I'm not a big military buff nor have I ever been in the military, so all dialogue contained within the stories is just me bullshitting how I think this stuff would sound like based on various militarily themed movies, TV shows, and video games. So yeah.

NIGHT 1 - 0000 HOURS:
"Alright boys (and *cough*girls*cough*), listen up. The higher-ups don't want to send you out into the battlefield until you have some kind of experience in realistic combat situations, so they have devised a training scenario that they call Werewolf Games. These games have been designed to give you training in such fields as combat, intelligence gathering, and diplomacy so that you'll be able function effectively both on and off the battlefield.

So here's how the games work. You'll be randomly split up into four groups of six. Each group will have a soldier, a guard, an intelligence officer, and a counterintelligence officer. In addition, each team will have an additional member whose role will be based on that team's specialty. All this information will be further detailed in the mission brief which you will recieve after this meeting, and your team and role assignments will be issued to you privately momentarily.

The goal of the game is to have your team be the last one standing. It would be preferable for you to do this by completely annihilating the other teams, but if those circumstances can't be reached, other criteria will be used to determine which team gains victory.

Alright boys, it's time to head out. Good luck to you all, and may the best team win."

Mission Brief:
Roles:

Each team consists of the following:

Soldier - The Soldier is the offense of the group, and is the only one who can send in a kill. They can kill any other player besides the ones on their team.

Guard - The Guard is the defense of the group, and therefore can choose to protect one teammate each night from any possible attack. They cannot protect themselves, however.

Intelligence Officer - The Intelligence Officer is the information gatherer of the group, and can request to learn the role of one person each night. They only learn that person's role, and not that person's team affiliation.

Counterintelligence Officer - The Counterintelligence Officer is the spy of the group, and can intercept the information of one team's Intelligence Officer each night. However, this only yields them the information on who the Intelligence Officer checked, not any info on that person's role. And to clarify, they send in the name of the team they wants to intercept the info from.

Diplomat - The Diplomat is the negotiator of the group, and can send in an extra vote during the day. Their extra vote will be cast in secret and will not be publicly revealed during the course of the game.

Note: I did make a slight change to the Diplomat role compared to similar roles in past games. Instead of their vote counting twice, which kinda limits their actions, I'm making it so that they get two independent votes. The first is the normal daytime vote that everyone gets, and the second is a secret vote that they have to PM to me anytime during that same day. Since they are independent, that person does not have to vote for the same person twice, though they can if that's what they choose to do.

Teams:

In addition to the roles listed above, each team has an additional member based on their specialty, which is detailed below:

Alpha Team - Consists of six members. Has a combat specialty, which gives them an additional Soldier to compliment the standard five members.

Bravo Team - Consists of six members. Has a defense specialty, which gives them an additional Guard to compliment the standard five members.

Charlie Team - Consists of six members. Has an intelligence specialty, which gives them an additional Intelligence Officer to compliment the standard five members.

Delta Team - Consists of six members. Has a counterintelligence specialty, which gives them an additional Counterintelligence Officer to compliment the standard five members.

Goal:

Each team's goal is to eliminate all of the other teams. This is to be done by carrying out various actions at night, and by using their skills of persuasion along with their obtained information during the day to vote out the most ineffective player (or at least who the majority considers this to be) from the game.

Rules:

All players are to act according to their roles in addition to working with their team. This means they can send in their actions when prompted, and can discuss anything with their teammates in private at anytime during the game.

No discussion between players of opposing teams is allowed at any time, aside from public discussion of the game during the day's voting. Discussion of the game is not allowed in the thread at night, and at no time may any player reveal their role or team affiliation with anyone outside of their team.

Other than that, just apply common sense and your general knowledge of the game to how you play. Most likely, if you think you shouldn't be doing something, you probably shouldn't. If you truly are questioning the validity of something, PM me before you do it so I can give it the OK or shut it down. Other than that, you can also PM me with any other questions or comments you may have about the game.

Alpha Team: 6/6
Bravo Team: 6/6
Charlie Team: 6/6
Delta Team: 6/6

The game begins, and it is now Night One. I need actions from every member of every team except for the Diplomats, who obviously cannot act until during the day. I'm giving myself a little extra time to send out the roles and stuff, so to ensure that everyone gets the full 48 hours, Night One ends on Wednseday, December 19 at Midnight (CST).

Standin' by.

Thinking about this game reminds of that counter-terrorism game in that one The Unit episode... except there ended up being a real terrorist in the game. You didn't do that here did you, RockGamer?! =p
