I flipped a coin. One side said Garr, the other side said Plarom. I think it was evil, so I'll go for Plarom.

Voting for The_Melomane because she's the first person on the attendance list with an underscore in her name.

After careful consideration, I am voting for nuttyturnip. He has yet to post, and since the wolves did absolutely nothing last night...

Seconding the vote for nazpyro since that's not even a real rule. Plarom always acts evil.

Chocodecided between those who haven't posted yet, and it's The_Melomane.

I vote Ryuu because no one else has voted for him. Reason? I hate voting the first day, so I just avoid bandwagons like hell.

Casting a retaliatory vote for The_Griffin, because nuttyturnip never misses an action (unless Rock's deadline confuses me).

I vote for Kilroy for being too cubic.

Switching my vote to The_Melomane, since there's a decent chance she's a Werewolf, based on the whole "Gee whiz, I didn't know the game had started".

I can't let a ninja get lynched, much less a black ninja. That's all kinds of politically incorrect.

Thus I'm changing my vote to The_Melomane outta nowhere! I saw her trespassing in my outhouse last night and what I discovered in there this morning was an evil that defied description.

Day 1: The Politics of Evil

The town hall stood silent as everyone looked around in disbelief. How could one of these people be a killer? Everyone in town was pretty close to one another, so the thought that one of them could do this was mind-boggling to most. No one knew how to start a dialogue on such a subject as this, but knkwzrd finally stood, offering some initiative where others could not.

"This is nonsense," knkwzrd said as he looked back at the eyes staring at him. "But regardless, we have to do something. None of this makes any sense, including the vote I'm casting for Garr."

"Hmph, well, right back at you, knkwzrd!" Garr said in a fearful voice as he stood up to face knkwzrd's accusation.

"Ah, someone who dresses as snazzy as you do can't be a murderer," knkwzrd said as he gave Garr another look. "Therefore, I'll change my vote to Guru, who is obviously the next best candidate."

This exchange got the conversation going, and soon others started to cast their votes. Though the names of many were spoken, Plarom became the clear frontrunner.

"C'mon guys, you're gonna lynch the black guy?" Plarom asked as the deadline came approached, hoping to save himself from suffering the same fate many of his ancestors probably went through.

And at that moment, the town hall's doors swung open, and a bright light shone upon Plarom.

"Oh, I didn't even know you guys had started already."

Plarom was puzzled by what the angelic (to him, anyway) voice said, but he saw a figure start to approach from the light and got excited nonetheless. As the figure got closer and closer, the smile on Plarom's face grew bigger and bigger.

"Have I been saved?" Plarom asked as the figure finally came into view.

And with that, everyone watched as The_Melomane entered the room. Not the miracle Plarom had hoped for, but maybe this could still turn out in his favor.

nuttyturnip stood up and stared in disbelief. "Well, that's enough to change my vote," he said as The_Melomane slinked into her seat.

"I will as well!" Tritoch yelled after nuttyturnip finished. "Her absence totally made me forget about last night, when I found out...well, let's just say she has a terrible diet!"

No one noticed as Guru quietly snuck into the building and took the last remaining empty seat. He had saw the ruckus The_Melomane's entrance caused, and decided to be much more discreet about his own. He saw everyone was starting to turn on The_Melomane, and decided to jump on the bandwagon himself.

"Uh, yeah! The_Melomane, she's an evil one!" he stood up an yelled, trying to act as if he had been there the whole time.

And with that last vote, the mayor called the meeting to a close. All the votes were tallied, and The_Melomane's fate was sealed (most likely by her own doing). She was quickly taken into custody and escorted to the gallows, where she was asked if she had any last words.

"Um, I'm innocent you guys. A little bit uniformed, but definitely innocent!"

Since no one actually believed her, the execution happened as planned. As far as everyone was concerned, the threat had been extinguished. But with night once again approaching, they would learn just how wrong they were...

After being spared a loss due to the Werewolves' inactivity the previous night, Good manages to lose one during the first day of voting. It's still really early in the game though, so nothing is set in stone.

It is now Night 2, which means both Good (all Seers, the Vigilante, both Shamans, and the Magistrate) and Evil may send in their actions. All votes must be in by Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 PM (CST).

Sorry for the delay everyone, I got really busy with school for a day or so. I'm now on Spring Break though, so there shouldn't be anymore delays like this.

Night 2: Evil Rises Once Again!

StarmanDX had mostly been a casual observer at the day's town hall meeting, but observe well he did. He had noticed Tritoch's quickness in switching his vote to The_Melomane, who had turned out to be innocent. Surely this meant Tritoch had some part in the evil going around town, and StarmanDX thought he would do the town a favor by getting rid of Tritoch himself.

StarmanDX quietly snuck over to Tritoch's house, where he saw him exiting from the back door. "Ha, I knew he was up to no good," StarmanDX whispered to himself as he continued to observe Tritoch.

As StarmanDX watched Tritoch, he expected him to and go do something evil, but alas, Tritoch was merely making his way to the outhouse (which he cleaned as soon as he got home, as he couldn't stand the thought of using the bathroom which contained the droppings of a dead person). As Tritoch went in and closed the door behind him, StarmanDX left his hiding spot and closed in on the outhouse. Once he was right outside the outhouse, he quickly put his hand over his nose.

"There's definitely some type of evil going on in there!" StarmanDX thought to himself as he pulled out his knife with his free hand.

StarmanDX listened as Tritoch hummed to himself, leaving StarmanDX to think that he was completely vulnerable. He took a chance and busted right through the door, where he then lunged at Tritoch. Little did he know, however, that Tritoch was an avid hunter, and therefore kept a shotgun in every room in his house and even the one outside. His hunting instinct gave him enough time to grab the shotgun and fire a round off into StarmanDX's gut just as he StarmanDX's knife tore through his neck.

Tritoch died immediately, enabling him to forego the pain StarmanDX suffered through as he stumbled back outside. He didn't make it very far though, as he fell to the ground right next to the outhouse, allowing him to take in one last whiff of Tritoch's dinner before he passed on.

Meanwhile, back at the abandoned house, the Mafia celebrated the success of last night's kill and planned out their next one.

"Heh, those stupid idiots didn't suspect a thing. They're too busy killing each other to figure out we's the guys who's doin' it!"

"Yeah, they're just making our jobs easier for us. We could probably just sit back and relax until they all kill each other off."

"Nah, we can't afford to get lazy now. Just know that if we killin' people as well as them, this job will get done twice as fast."

"That's true. Does our little snitch have any good info?"

"You know you can always count me. I heard some rumblings about Guru having some kind of hero complex, always trying to save people and stuff. If he shows up at the right place at the right time, he may actually end up preventin' us from whackin' someone."

"Good job. I guess we'll just have to pay Mr. Guru a little visit."

The Mafia departed the abandoned house and made their way to Guru's house. As they broke into his house, they stopped for a minute to admire his new shelves, which they thought added a nice decorative touch. Getting back to business, they made their way to Guru's bedroom, where he laid sound asleep. One of the mafioso grabbed him by his arm and dragged him out of bed.

"Hey, what's the big idea?" Guru asked as he tried to adjust his eyes to see what was going on.

"I heard you like to protect things," the guy who dragged him out of bed said right in his face. "So why don't you try protectin' this here wall!"

With that, the guy slammed Guru into the wall, and before Guru could even react two of the other guys were already spraying him with bullets. Once their clips emptied, Guru's body slid down to the floor, leaving a bright red trail on the wall. Moonlight peaked through several holes in the wall, which were left by bullets that managed to penetrate the wall.

"Look at that! He couldn't even protect the wall after all!"

And finally, back to the forest, where the Werewolves once again held a meeting to decide who they wanted to kill.

"So we really are doing it this time, right?"

"Of course we are, last night was a fluke."

"Well, who are we gonna kill then?"

"Let's let our noses lead the way."

In unison, all of the Werewolves stuck their noses straight up in the air. After locking on to the scent of a group of people, they all raced off into town. They ran to the house where the scent came from and they all jumped through a side window, causing a storm of shattered glass. They quickly looked around and saw three people trying to run out of the room. The first two managed to escape, leaving Zergrinch at the hands (or paws, rather) of the Werewolves.

"Hey, you don't want to do this," Zergrinch said nervously. "You don't want to feel the wrath of the Zergrudge, do you?"

"We'll take our chances..."

And with that, the Werewolves chowed down on Zergrinch. He was a little dry, but what could you do?

The night ended with the discovery of all these gruesome acts. With four more dead bodies on their hands, they had no choice but to call another town meeting. Will they finally discover the people who are behind these evil acts, or will the town meet its demise? Only the day will reveal the answer...

Night 2 Results:

Tritoch kills StarmanDX, the Vigilante, in retaliation.

So...Good pretty much shot themselves in the foot tonight, losing two important roles by their own doing. In addition, even more good guys were killed at the hands of Evil, leading to a pretty substantial lost for Good. They're gonna have to perform pretty damn well during the day to even stand a chance at winning this game now, in addition to hoping that Evil screws up.

With that, it is now Day 2, which means all remaining players must cast their vote. All votes must be in by Saturday, March 15th at 10:30 PM (CST)
