Argh I didn't forgot about the deadline, more than I made a mistake about timezones. I thought I could just make it at the nick of time. Dang...

Crash being a werewolf was surprising. I was expecting the werewolf team to be full of noobs who missed the day 1 killing deadline

Good game, Shin, though Rock is right. It may be too late.

Quote:
Night 3: Power Struggle

Once again, the Mafia meets at the abandoned house at the edge of town. You'd think they would have sold this thing by now, but all the murders happening in town probably aren't that great for business. Anyway, more SERIOUS BUSINESS being discussed.

"So who would've guessed there's another group of people out there killing folks as well?"

"Eh, they ain't no concern to us, as long as they don't get in our way. Once we kill everyone else, we'll just run them doggies out of town."

"So what's on tap for tonight, snitchy?"

"I don't care what's on tap, I want Garr dead. I can't believe knkwzrd thinks he's a snazzy dresser, and doesn't even give me the time of day after I spent hours putting this outfit together. He's dead I tell ya, dead!"

"Alright then, let's go avenge your fashion sense (I can't believe we're seriously doing this)."

The Mafia took their leave and went to the home of Garr. To their surprise, he was awake, waiting for them at his front door. Garr surveyed the group, and after observing each one of them let out a sigh of relief.

"I know a thing or two about what's going on, but I don't see any of the people involved among you, so you're good," Garr said as he let his guard down.

"Heh, then you're a damn fool."

The mafia quickly surrounded Garr and beat him to the ground. They then proceeded to drag his half-beaten body into the house, where they took out their brass knuckles and beat on him some more, until he was pretty dead looking.

"He looks pretty dead. Let's bail."

And now back to the forest, where the Werewolves mourn the loss of one of their own...briefly.

"I can't believe they killed Crash! Not Crash!"

"Sad indeed, but we still gotta eat, so on to tonight's business. We had planned on eating everyone in this town down to the bone, but with these idiots killing each other, and this other group of idiots shortening our supply, we may need to make a change of plans and start eating them indiscriminately."

"Heh, gotta eat 'em all, I'm down with that. So who we gonna get tonight?"

"Hmm, nuttyturnip sounds delicious by name alone. Let's just get him."

And with that, the Werewolves left and found themselves at nuttyturnip's humble abode. They did their usual 'jump through the window' routine to get in, and quickly surrounded nuttyturnip, who was now wide awake.

"Crud."

The Werewolves started taking bites out of nuttyturnip, who of course screamed in pain. After the feast was over, the Werewolves just laid there, satisfied with their choice."

"Now he wasn't dry at all, and of course, there's a 100% less Zergrudge to worry about."

Once morning came, the same song and dance ensued, with a town meeting being called. With Good and Evil even in numbers, could a war between the Evil powers be the thing to save the town, or will it just lead to complete dominance by one of them?
Night 3 Results:
Mafia kills Garr, the Fool.
Werewolves kill nuttyturnip, a Seer.

New Objective: The Mafia and the Werewolves must now try and achieve individual victory by taking out both Good and the other Evil team.

In an attempt to give Good a (slim) chance to make a comeback, and to prolong the game in general (honestly, I was considering ending the game after tonight), a new twist has been added. Whether it will let Good actually win or just give an ego boost to one of the Evil teams remains to be seen (Note: I know this is supposed to be a Classic game, and aside from this it still is, but I apologize if anyone hates this new twist).

With that, it is now Day 3, so all remaining players need to cast a vote. All votes need to be in by Wednesday, March 19th at 11:00 PM (CST).[/quote]

I would've preferred a zombie twist, but at least this will provide a bit more suspense.

Well, damn. Guess it's a good thing I didn't try to call anyone out during the voting period. I kinda had a hunch I was the Fool, and my death pretty much confirms that. Oh well.

See you guys next time.

The other seer and the fool dead in one night? That ain't good. I had hoped that one of the others would check Plarom last night so I didn't. Sadly, the person I checked was a villager so I can offer no lynching insights today and we're pretty much fucked without some clever deductioning. I'll get the ball rolling by suggesting that Plarom wanting to lynch me for being a fool was a pretty evil team thing to do.

You know, all this bandwaggoning really plays into the habds of the evil teams. With no discussion during the days we have no way of picking out evil types. That said, Plarom's seeming acceptance of his lynching today makes him look pretty evil. If I were a good player about to get lynched at this point in the game I'd be trying pretty fucking hard to talk people round.

Yes it's bandwagoning, but it's the only suitable pick right now. Lynching anyone else would only be a result of random guesswork. With him, at least, we have something to go on.

Plarom for me, as well.

Quote:
Day 3: Meh

Everyone looked around in puzzlement as nearly half the town was absent from the day's town meeting. With the very fate of the village on the line, how could anyone skip out on this important meeting?

One person who didn't was Shin, who was quick with the accusations once again. This time they focused on Plarom, who had narrowly managed to avoid just days earlier. But Plarom was nonchalant about about the whole thing, leading others to cast their vote against him as well. It's as if he didn't even care anymore, as he never even cast a vote against anyone else to throw the suspicion off of himself.

With night approaching and no visible signs of anyone else coming, the meeting ended with Plarom set to be executed. Plarom happily obliged and walked to the gallows without any resistance. When asked why he was so calm about it, Plarom responded "Black man getting lynched, who didn't see that one coming?"

And with that, Plarom was set up to be executed. When asked if he had any last words, Plarom laughed.

"A black man in the mafia? Would anyone ever find that the least bit believable?"

No one could believe it, but they executed him nonetheless.

(Insert subplot about how Ryuu was found dead for being inactive here)

Both Evil teams are now tied up, but Good still has the numbers advantage during the day. Will the Evil teams try to lower Good's numbers, or will they start going after each other?

With that, it is now Night 4, so all eligible players need to by Saturday, March 22nd at 12:00 AM (CST).
