You know, of all the things I forget to do, I ALWAYS mess up informing the new recruit/purified about their new life. Heh, my bad!
I thought Yeldarb might have gotten hold of the spreadsheet, and that was why he chose not to kill anyone. But he claimed ignorance when I asked him. In case you folks are curious how well you did on voting, here's a handy guide. Note that the player colors each day is determined based on their roles at that time, and not their current roles. ![]() I'd say, other than both Shin and Garr, that nuttyturnip has the best record! He consistently voted against evil when he was good, and vice versa ![]() As this was my first time running a Werewolf game, I'm curious about your comments and recommendations. Brickbats or bouquets welcome! I want to know if I were incompetent in any other way, so I can improve ![]() Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff

Meh, the one sad thing about being a magistrate was that all I had to go on was gut instincts and statistics to place my bets, which doesn't help much in the first few days. As for that block on Crash, yeah, I don't know what I was thinking that day. I should have used it on Capo the following day, as I was dead sure he was still good, especially as most everyone I suspected of being a baddie at that point had a vote on him. Oh well.

Wow. Juanzen, the other shaman, and I must have had mental wavelengths beaming to one another. We both protected the same people until I died. Of course, if Starman hadn't convinced me to protect Nutty, I was going to protect myself and I would have at least lived another day. Ah, but that's life. Intertwined lovers always have a strange twist of fate that ends up damning them.

I like how nutty and I were Fools, and by Day 6, the Fool count in Zerg's role distribution was zero (which I disapprove of by the way, especially differentiating between Seers & Fools/Villagers left).
Fun game though, especially after joining up with the OLDK Wolfpack. where mah dawgs at |

Aww man, if Juanzen hadn't protected me, I could've been purified twice!
How freakin' awesome, yet simultaneously frustrating, would that have been? You know, after the second purification, I would've taken it as a higher message and totally blown Lukage's cover. Also, man. Totally nailed that Priest number. Too bad. |

It was interesting that the night Tafer checked me, he was told I was a Werewolf, and then I actually got converted into one. Had he actually thought he was a true Seer and went after me, he could have rightfully lynched a bad guy. But since he didn't, I escape yet another game of Werewolf without ever having been killed during the day (I've played in every game since the second one, so minus the ones I modded that's 17 games I've escaped being lynched).
I honestly thought I was gonna be a bit rusty after not having played Werewolf in a while (I modded the last two games, and there was a really long break somewhere in there), but I think I fared pretty well. Tafer was a bust, but then I targeted the Necromancer and a Vampire who was protected, meaning I at least has some eye as for who was Evil when I was a Priest. After I was converted, I have to say I was surprised to see a Team OLDK Werewolf alliance forming. Despite the fact that it would have been hard as hell to do, I honestly would have took on the role of Infiltrator if it wasn't for the fact that I'd be betraying my OLDK teammates. Thus, I went straight Werewolf, and now that we're standing here as the winners I definitely don't regret it. I would have been glad just to survive about halfway through the game, as I never expected to actually win. It was definitely a great game, with lots of cool twists and turns. Don't beat yourself up too bad Zerg, as it was your first time so there's obviously gonna be some adjusting into the mod role. I can attest from experience (and I'm sure Nutty and Crash can as well) that the more games you get under your belt, the easier it becomes. I hope you had a great time modding it, and I hope you mod another game in the future. As for the next game, I mentioned in the Q&A thread that if no one else stepped up to mod the next one that I would. As far as I know, no one has, so I'll wait a few more hours and if no one still hasn't said anything I'll put up a sign-up thread later tonight. |

:griffgrudge: cares not for silly things like logic and extenuating circumstances.
Dark Ice and Nutty are going down god dammit. >=o Also really wishing I hadn't been lynched. This was the coolest game I'd seen in ages. ;_; ![]() |

Zerg mate, you did a great job, I really enjoyed that game.
Once again I was good and once again a seer although this time I got shafted repeatedly by the shamen. I find it amazing that so many people went after StarmanDX on the same night I did and then nutty and Crash. Seriously, I thought I'd never get a check in. I was damn lucky (For me at least) that Starman died when he did so at least I knew I was a true seer. I was a bit worried after I logged on here one night and voted for Chaotic, only for Crash and others to go after him. I hadn't checked him and was posting a vote just to avoid a strike out, I was fucking lucky he turned out to be evil. Well, I survived again at least, that's two in a row for me so I can't complain about night one victimisation anymore I guess. Good game though everyone and after this one I've changed some of my opinions about who the really good werewolf players are here. Looking forward to the next game already. |

Knowing what I know now, I should have been a little more verbal about Lukage. Obviously, he was the first person I checked in the game, but I didn't like the odds that I might have been a Fool, so I chose to keep my mouth shut and just throw the "sake of convenience" bullshit vote for him on the second vote. I wonder how that might have turned out if I'd been able to get a bandwagon going against him though...
I guess I've still got a lot to learn, because I wasn't 100% sure of my role until after juanzen got killed. When he said he protected Crash, I opted to check juan to see if he was pulling any shenanigans. The check came back as him being a Shaman, which went along with what he said and it was confirmed when he was killed the same night he protected Shin. As far as nutty goes, when I gave the message to "Strike!", I still wasn't sure and was actually taking a bit of a gamble on blind faith that maybe, just maybe, I was the real deal. Turns out I was right, but nothing ever really came of it. Anyway, I really had fun with the game, Zerg. Fantastic job on modding. Also, it's nice to see I actually survived a game for once, although it wasn't quite as intended. Looking forward to the next game. ![]() ![]() "Hey! You're that special ops they sent in behind enemy lines, aren't you? What did they call you... The 'Bionic Commando'. I sure hope your results are better than that name!"

Also, called it, mofos. Thanks for purifying him though, Griffin. But on that note, frankly Crash, I am not impressed with the way you kept your mouth shut. It's hard to balance this sort of game, as either good gets very lucky and wins in less than a few days or has almost no chance. Not sure if I'd play again without some big modifications. ![]() |
My logic was this: I was purified, and effectively had no abilities whatsoever. Being a Bystander sucks ass because you do nothing except watch. Why would I want to spend the rest of the game with a role that had nothing going for it? I knew Lukage was going to recruit me again if he survived, so at least I'd have something to do as a Vampire. I acknowledge that it was a selfish decision and that Good benefitted none from it. I wasn't running the game so I didn't have to act in everyone's best interests. Maybe if the Lead Vampire hadn't been Lukage I would've chosen differently, but I found it pretty funny; when in doubt, Lukage is always Evil. I had to keep him going as long as possible. |
![]() Backloggery -=- Because no one demanded it!

I figured we were screwed no matter what since I'm ALWAYS (I think ONE time I was a good guy) evil. Oh well, worth a shot.

Haha, you only had like a 9% chance (1 in 11) of being evil, and the numbers had to go your way. I was thinking of redrawing but thought it was more hilarious to let it be, and see how far you go.
You went pretty far, but made poor and unlucky conversion choices (you went for people were either high-profile or had been called out in the thread). Join the Gamingforce Composition Competition Useful Stuff
