If Griffin is a Vampire, then there's a 50% chance that he was purged last night and is now a common Villager.

This, of course, assumes that nuttyturnip is a credible seer (assuming he's a Villager in the first place.) There's a 50% chance he's a seer and not a fool.

So, what potential outcomes do we really have?

1: nuttyturnip is a Seer and is correct: The Griffin is a Vampire.
2: nuttyturnip is a Seer and is correct: The Griffin is a Vampire - but Griffin was turned and is now harmless.
3: nuttyturnip is a Fool and is incorrect: The Griffin is not a Vampire.

We cannot guarantee that a Fool's checks will also reveal a correct alignment, even if the role is incorrect, so this basically leaves us at these three options. Two of them lead to a misguided lynching. The current odds are 66% that The Griffin is being wrongly accused.
However, I cannot prove that nuttyturnip isn't also correct, despite the odds against it.

Still, I don't feel too good about bandwagoning a vote that has such a high risk of backfiring. So I'm going to toss my vote in a completely meaningless direction by voting for Identity Crisis. It's based upon nothing more than random selection and I don't mean for anyone to suddenly up and follow suit. I just don't want innocent blood on my hands too, if I can avoid it.
The strongest man...

While I'm not exactly keen with the odds on The_Griffin being Evil (~33%, depending on the fool-to-seer ratio and whether or not nuttyturnip is Evil), they're still slightly better than the odds of lynching Evil from haphazard selection (25%).

I'll vote for The_Griffin.

Unfortunate that The_Griffin hasn't been around to explain - computer problems, apparently. Oh well, meaningless vote for nazpyro, since not much could make a difference now anyways.

Shit, I completely forgot to vote when I was reading this yesterday. I'm not too happy with the logic behing Griff's lynching so I'll cast a throwaway vote for Garr, to avoid a black mark.

I was experiencing some sort of trouble connecting to Gamingforce, and was thinking of extending the voting deadline. But after tabulating the votes, I realized that only Capo and The_Griffin haven't voted. So, here we go!

Unlike the free-for-all the previous day, the townsfolk finally caught a lucky break, or so they thought. According to nuttyturnip, his investigations the previous night led him to believe that The_Griffin was a vampire. In fact, the last remaining one.

Choosing not to question nuttyturnip's credentials or competence, the votes steadily rained down on the hapless lynchee. Sure, there were a few who wanted to have nothing to do with the bandwagon, but even the magistrates have decided to sit this one out, no magistrate chose to pad or block the ballot today.

And it was so, that The_Griffin was suspended from his neck until dead. His final words were: Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.

The_Griffin's Role:
Horrified that they had killed a Priest, the crowd cut down The_Griffin's body, and gave it a proper burial as befits a man of his stature. The_Griffin was, in fact, the preacher who successfully purified a vampire the previous night.

Curious why Capo has been completely silent for the past 2 days, a search party was dispatched to his house. While Capo was not present, it is clear that the pile of unfinished paperwork now overflowing his desk proved that he was a Magistrate.

Final Vote Tally:
The_Griffin: 12
Lukage: 2
Capo: 1
Garr: 1
nazpyro: 1
knkwzrd: 1

2 strikes against Capo.

It is now Night Two
PLAYERS: 22 | Good: 14 | Evil: 5 | Dead: 3

I expect actions from Werewolves, Vampires, Vigilantes, Villagers, Priests, and the Necromancer in 48 hours, which would be Wednesday, April 19, 9 AM EST.

THANKS, FUCKHEADS.

For ONCE I get a HALF-DECENT ROLE THAT IS NOT a fucking worthless piece of shit villager and/or on a team that can't tell the difference from their asshole and a volcano, and you dickweeds go and vote me off while I'm having fucking computer problems.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. A++ won't play again.

EDIT: Oh, BTW, I was the guy who successfully purified the vamp. So that's a DOUBLE-WHAMMY AGAINST YOU IDIOTS.

o.o

You do know the last guy we killed was killed at the beginning of the previous game too, and the other one was off in the US and away from the computer, right? At least he got to try Gears of War 2, though.
Fixed. I wonder if anyone will die this game and NOT be pissed about it.

Interesting. The Zergrudge is infectious!

I wish to state, for the record, that the checks returned by fools have been predetermined from the start, though based on arbitrary allocation rather than randomness. The only time I will change it is when circumstances demand it: ie, a good player whose fool role is a werewolf gets recruited into the werewolf team.

I would imagine that was Zergrinch having a laugh at your expense, telling me you were a Vampire when in fact you were the Priest that purified him. It's not like I picked you because I knew you wouldn't fight back; no one else provided any leads to go on. Surely I wasn't the only Villager who uncovered a bad guy last night?

well now you know for sure you are a fool nutty so well even while it's a shitty mistake we did by voting like that. Griffin, you can't get all mad because you die in one game. I mean if shin would have gotten mad(to the point he'd quit since he got really mad from what I saw) in those 3 in a row or so games he got killed within the first couple of nights or anyone else we'd have like no werewolf players right now(not directly to the point but in my last 2 or 3 games I got mason as a role), just do like zerg and make a list! Well anyhow now we know for sure nutty is a fool and we can just wait for the results of the following night and hoping other seers and fools voice up since the evil players are really few the odds of finding them aren't so high and if we keep killing the important people like this, oh well.

Consider it a reaction from forgetting about the Werewolf game for about 3-4 days because my PSU decided to fuck itself over and die from heatstroke, and discovering that I'd been offed on a campus workstation. Add in that this was the first game in... oh, about 5-6 that I'd played where I had a role that was actually USEFUL, and yeah.

And naw, I'm not all that mad anymore. Instead, I now declare :the_grudge: against nuttyturnip! >=o

hey, don't blame me for the shitty name. It was either that or :furgrudge:.
