An interesting day, to say the least. I'm not sure I trust any of the parties involved; however, one statement in particular has aroused my suspicion:

And hey, I know he's either a fool or Evil, because, I'm a Seer, possibly a Fool. If you like, I could throw out some names and roles to prove it.

EDIT: Okay, make that a name/role, because I checked elwe on night 1 and he got offed.
Bold/size emphasis mine. A real Seer/Fool would be sure of his role after someone he checks gets killed; this just sounds like a hastily planned lie. Furthermore:
Strangely enough, though, you're right in one aspect, Shin. The person I checked was Capo and he's the Anti-Shaman.
It should be apparent why that doesn't make sense. True, it's odd that you'd make such a mistake if Sergeant Slappy was your own dead teammate, but you could also be trying make it sound like you aren't Convocation. Either way, you're lying or you're a Fool, and I doubt there's a second Good Fool among the Villagers.

Sorry, The_Griffin, but it doesn't add up.

THE NIGHT IS MINE.

Because there can't be any evil villagers at all. Nope, not at all. And besides, the way I read the description of the fool at the time, he can be wrong or right. I could be wrong, though. I've been on vacation for the last bloody week and I haven't had time enough to do more than a rather hasty reading of the PMs I've been sent and a quick overview of the roles/rules and the thread.

Furthermore, let's assume that I am lying about being a seer/fool. That still doesn't mean I'm evil. All the teams can send in kills via a sacrificial lamb; why can't a seer reveal names/roles the same way?

Basically, there's already a dead Good Fool and a dead Evil Seer among the Villagers. I'd wager there's a Good Seer and an Evil Fool to match, and you're obviously not the former. But really, you've just told me everything I need to know.

Yeah, Griff's story is getting a little far-fetched now, I agree. I'd suggest though that he's either an independant evil fool or a good guy trying desperately to clear his name and doing a really bad job of it. Either way, I think that with only one good vigilante left, it's really important that we lynch the evil hunter today and for my money, that's Crash.

Aaaand now for the results!

Test Subject:
"SUBJECT PLAROM. YOU HAVE BEEN CHOSEN TO RELINQUISH YOUR POWERS USING THIS UPGRADED ZOMBIFICATION RAY. DO YOU HAVE ANY LAST REQUESTS?"

"Well, I'd..."

"TIME'S UP."

AwesomeBot fired the zombification ray at Plarom, and, after being exposed to a bizarre red light, he didn't immediately exhibit any strange aftereffects. Plarom was relieved.

"WITH YOUR SUPERPOWERS EXPUNGED, YOU ARE FREE TO GO."

Plarom couldn't believe that we would be off without so much as a scratch, but he wouldn't ponder about the situation too deeply. At least, not for the three seconds he was perfectly fine.

Then Plarom started coughing.

At first the coughs were short and innocuous, but they grew in frequency and force as time passed on. The coughs were full of phlegm and blood after a few minutes, and it wasn't too long before Plarom literally coughed up one of his lungs. He would then keep coughing until nothing but blood spewed out from his esophagus. The crowd panicked at the macabre scene.

"DO NOT WORRY. I SURMISE THE COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF BLOOD IS CAUSED BY WHAT YOU HUMANS WOULD CALL HIS 'PERIOD.'"

AwesomeBot definitely needed to be fixed.

Spoiler:
The crowd lynches Plarom, A.K.A. Psychrasite, the Convocation of Criminals Seer.

Vote Tally:
Plarom - 4
The_Griffin - 3
Crash Landon - 2

Defenders Alliance (3/5)

I've ended Day Two slightly early since everybody who could vote has already done so. The Preacher(s) is definitely now a force to be reckoned with!

Now we're heading to the final stretch! It's entirely possible that the Defenders Alliance can claim victory for good tonight if everything goes swimmingly. Night Three has begun, and be sure to send in those night actions by Friday, June 27, 5:00 PM (MST)!

I made kind of a sad face when I found out I died so early in the game, but hey, that's just how the dice roll. I'm sure there's a better way to say that, but whatever.

Until I find a better way to end my closing posts, I look forward to the next game, not to mention seeing how this one pans out. See you guys later.

Denouement (tl;dr):
In an abandoned warehouse, Dr. Devious was executing the next part of his plan. Contagion was sitting back, watching as Dr. Devious welded some machine parts together. Those machine parts belonged to AwesomeBot, powered down on the other side of the room.

“Do you think *sniff* that the Alliance suspects something, Doc?” Contagion asked.

“Of course I do! The ray gun I equipped AwesomeBot with that day was supposed to temporarily amplify Psychrasite’s power, not destroy him from the inside out.”

Dr. Devious turned from what he was doing and pushed Contagion to the ground.

“And for the last time, stop calling me ‘Doc.’”

Contagion was peeved. He regained his composure and turned around to Dr. Devious.

“Oh, come on. Quit with the melodrama already. Sure, Mr. Awesome foiled your plans once again, but it’s not like there aren’t other cities to conquer.”

“I’m certainly going to be able to rule over anything larger than a barnyard when all of my minions are either incompetent or dead. I have to be rid of that meddlesome Mr. Awesome once and for all in order to even think about conquering anything. Idiot.”

Before Contagion could start with his reply, No-Face, Brain Child, and Mr. Awesome barged in through the roof of the abandoned warehouse. Contagion had a look of surprise on his face, but Dr. Devious was somehow remaining relatively calm. Mr. Awesome pointed to Dr. Devious.

“Give up, fiend! I knew it was you who messed with AwesomeBot’s programming. You did it the instant AwesomeBot went looking for your prototype zombification ray!”

“How observant of you! I assume that one of you met with AwesomeBot before yesterday’s voting, yes?” Dr. Devious responded.

“That’s right. I met AwesomeBot after the first voting fiasco and had Brain Child replace the gun that you gave AwesomeBot so that one of your henchmen would die instead!”

“Clever, although it won’t matter. Now that I have all of the remaining members of the Defenders Alliance here, I’ll merely have Contagion dispose of all of you at once.”

“Are you insane?!” Contagion shouted at Dr. Devious. “Only on a good day I’d be able to kill one of these guys and maybe give another a head cold or something! How am I supposed to ‘dispose of’ three of them by myself?!”

“You underestimate your usefulness, Contagion.”

Dr. Devious pressed a button on his wristwatch, and the back of Contagion’s neck emitted a red light. Dr. Devious planted a bomb on Contagion, and it was set to go off immediately. Contagion's head exploded and his blood and brains were splattered all over the Defenders Alliance and Dr. Devious. Dr. Devious shortly afterwards inoculated himself with a purple liquid while the Defenders Alliance was distracted.

“You psycho! Why did you kill off your own henchmen like that?!” Mr. Awesome shouted at Dr. Devious.

“To provide my escape, of course. Even with your speed, Mr. Awesome, you’d only have time to either help Brain Child over there come up with an antitoxin to all of the pathogens in Contagion’s blood that you've been exposed to or apprehend me and be dead where you stand.”

Dr. Devious pressed another button on his wristwatch and fell through a trap door. No-Face pursued the falling foe, and the trap door immediately became sealed off behind him. Mr. Awesome tried to punch through the door with his awesome knuckles, but Dr. Devious used a special metal for the trap door capable of enduring even Mr. Awesome’s punches. Brain Child warned Mr. Awesome about Contagion’s blood and the both of them headed back to the Awesome Lab. The search for their faceless friend and the maniacal doctor would have to wait.

Meanwhile, in the outskirts of town, Dr. Devious slid out of a sewer drain. It wasn’t exactly the best method of escape, but it would have to do. Dr. Devious tried to regain his composure, but No-Face landed directly on top of him, pinning him down. No-Face pulverized Dr. Devious into near-submission for a few minutes, but No-Face was falling deathly ill. Dr. Devious shoved the weakened No-Face aside and brushed himself off. It wasn’t long before No-Face lost consciousness and succumbed to all of the diseases coursing through his body.

Dr. Devious would’ve had a one-liner to say to the dead No-Face, but he desperately needed to find a place to recuperate. For several hours, he tried to find his secret lair deep within the forest but to no avail. Dr. Devious was extremely weak and had to lie down for a little bit. As he was resting, he noticed a shambling figure lurking deep within the forest. Dr. Devious recognized this figure, but it was the last person he wanted to see. Knkwzrd was still a zombie, and Dr. Devious’ outfit was still teeming with the overwhelming smell of Contagion’s brains.

Dr. Devious was too weak to move, but he didn’t scream for help. He laughed and laughed and laughed until knkwzrd pinned him down and chewed on his tasty brains.

tl;dr:
Mr. Awesome attacks Shin, but the attack fails.
Contagion kills Hyde, A.K.A. No-Face, the Defenders Alliance Preacher.
The_Griffin has been Hunted down.

Nightly Summary:
Mr. Awesome attacks Shin, but the attack fails.

With that done, I'll go ahead and end evil's suffering by having good claim victory for this game.

My reasoning for ending the game now is as follows. ZiggyGo (confirmed as a Seer since Night One), Tritoch, and StarmanDX would've definitely voted for Shin. At most, Shin would have support from, well, himself since The_Griffin was denied a vote. Capo and Crash would be the only votes without definite reason behind them.

At best, Shin would be tied with someone else with the most votes. Since a tiebreaker vote would be kind of pointless in that scenario, I'd have to lynch the both of them, leaving the evil team helpless anyway.

On the very, very small chance Shin does survive the lynching. He'd have Tritoch to answer to the next night.

I do find it slightly odd that The_Griffin sent in a kill but didn't send in a Hunter target as well. If he silenced a good guy, the votes would've been too close to call, and the game would've gone to Day Three.

Without further ado, here are the roles and night actions. There weren't any Magistrates or Lucky Stiffs in this game because I kind of anticipated more participants. I left them in the role list because wanted to see if that would affect votes.

Roles:
elwe: Trigger Finger (Good Vigilante)
nuttyturnip: Cloak (Mafia Anti-Shaman)
ZiggyGo: Eye Spy (Good Seer)
Chaotic: Sergeant Slappy (Werewolf Anti-Shaman)
Crash Landon: The Walking Implosion (Good Hunter)
Garr: Façade (Werewolf Preacher)
Diss: The Nose (Good Fool)
RockgamerXIII: Dagger (Mafia Vigilante)
Capo: Somnor (Good Shaman)
Zergrinch: Karma (Mason Hunter)
Tritoch: Mr. Awesome (Mason Vigilante)
The_Griffin: Contagion (Werewolf Hunter)
Plarom: Psychrasite (Werewolf Seer)
nazpyro: A-Bomb (Good Hunter)
knkwzrd: Human Shield (Mason Shaman)
Yeldarb: Crimson Snitch (Evil Seer)
StarmanDX: Brain Child (Mason Seer)
Shin: Dr. Devious (Werewolf Vigilante)
Hyde: No-Face (Mason Preacher)

To clarify, the Masons belong to the Defenders Alliance, the Werewolves belong to the Convocation of Criminals, and the Mafia belong to the Sewer Thugs.

Night One:
knkwzrd protects Tritoch
ZiggyGo checks Diss
Crash Landon silences nazpyro
nuttyturnip exposes Zergrinch
nuttyturnip attacks Zergrinch
Diss checks nazpyro
Plarom checks Diss
Yeldarb checks elwe
The_Griffin silences Crash Landon
Zergrinch silences nuttyturnip
StarmanDX checks nuttyturnip
Shin attacks Diss
elwe attacks nazpyro
Zergrinch attacks Chaotic
Chaotic exposes Zergrinch

Night Two:
ZiggyGo checks The_Griffin
RockgamerXIII attacks Garr
StarmanDX checks RockgamerXIII
Crash Landon silences Plarom
Yeldarb checks Crash Landon
Tritoch attacks RockgamerXIII
Shin attacks Yeldarb
Plarom checks Capo
The_Griffin silences Tritoch

Night Three:
ZiggyGo checks Shin
StarmanDX checks Shin
Tritoch attacks Shin
The_Griffin attacks Hyde
Crash Landon silences The_Griffin

Bleh, with summer school up, I probably shouldn't have made the game so complicated to keep track of. Oh well. At least I didn't wind up running my first somehow even more complicated draft of this game. Trying to organize umpteen night actions every night was still a pain though.

Great game, although I'm wondering why the attack on Shin failed.

I'd love to see a similar game, but Venture Brothers themed. Team Venture vs. The Monarch and The Guild of Calamitous Intent, anyone?

You're welcome, citizens!

Great game, and honestly if Shin hadn't tried his hardest to protect Griffin yesterday then his role wouldn't have been so obvious last night. His point that it was unusual for Crash to hop a bandwagon so readily was a good one, but other than that it was all one big "CHECK ME" sign.

StarmanDX: Tritoch and Shin both have lucky stiff abilities. That's why Shin lives.

Although, based on the narrative, The_Griffin should be pushing up daisies, if Dr. Devious really blew up his brains.

Anyhow, excellent game, Identity Crisis. Pity it was rather short overall (ending at post 59) and short for me (dying at Night 1).

As for strategies, I was following on the sidelines and was sure The_Griffin's excuse was lame and such. But Shin's burst of righteous indignation threw me off. Well done, Shin, and even more well done, fellow Masons, for sniffing out Shin's lies

Also, nuttyturnip called himself "The Pointy Detective" a few games back. Pity Identity didn't run away with this role, putting nuttyturnip in Diss' shoes
