Werewolf Game 5 (Day 2)

Setting:

A town in the middle of nowhere, so isolated that its residents have forgotten its name. Over time, most of the people have left for opportunities elsewhere, leaving the few remaining residents as prime targets for the malevolent forces that have descended upon the tiny hamlet. The town borders on a dark, black forest, and recently livestock have gone missing, later found dismembered and half-eaten. Several townsfolk, perhaps endowed with a second sight, claim that the village is cursed, and everyone will soon perish. Night falls, and the killing begins…

Modifications:

· Seers may check a target on the first night.
· If the Hunter is lynched, he kills no one. If the Hunter is killed at night, I will give him the names of his killers (Werewolves or Mafia) and he can choose one to kill.
· The Masons have the power to witness one of either the Werewolves’ or Mafia’s kills. To do this, the Masons will PM me the name of their member that will be “witnessing”. I will PM that Mason the name of one of the bad guys, and in turn, I will PM the Werewolves or Mafia the name of the Mason that witnessed. For this game at least, I think it’s best to limit this power to a one-time use, otherwise the Masons would have an unfair advantage.

Alive (15/15):

Darkcomet72
wvlfpvp
Lukage
Visavi
Tritoch
Crash Landon
Jochie
StarmanDX
Capo
David Deluxe
Plarom

YeOldeButchere

Roles:

Masons: (3/3)
Possible Seers: (2/2)
Vigilantes: (2/2)
Hunter: (1/1)

Werewolves: (3/3)
Devil: (1/1)
Mafia: (2/2)
Spy: (1/1)

Darkcomet72 – MOST DEFINITELY STILL ALIVE

Since it’s the first night and nobody knows anything yet, feel free to talk amongst yourselves whilst waiting for the bloodbath. If the new players have any questions, you should PM them to me, because if you ask them in the thread, the other players will get suspicious.

EDIT: Please take a look here at my suggestion on adding new players once the game has started.

Luxo, if you want to join, I could add you in via the method I linked to in my first post. I wasn't sure if you wanted to play or not.

Not really. I want to be a mere viewer this time. I just wanted to post in the thread

Good luck y'all.

Good luck, everybody!

This should be an interesting game. I'd like to see how effectively the Mason's new power comes into play!

Also, I hope the newcomers enjoy this the most!

Chaotic missed the signups and wants to join this game. Does anyone have objections to me adding him in at the start of the first day via the method I described in the first post?

Fine with me. Though he might be at a disadvantage considering it'll likely be possible to have a good idea what role you gave him from seeing the actual role distribution. Unless you know that we'll have a good idea and try to confuse us. But then we might know that you know that we have a good idea and we'll have a good idea nonetheless. But then...

I think the method being used to add him in though was just to have his role as a question mark. That way no one knows if he's good or evil, and he's not just an instant target.

Yes, I had considered the fact that people would try to figure out his role based on the current layout, and I haven't decided whether I'll pick his role or decide it more or less at random (and obviously I'm not going to say here). Therefore, your logic won't work.

Unless you're only saying this because that's what you want me to think. I've seen right through your plans!

I'm so smart, and that's why I'll never fail. Well, won't fail, most of the time. Well, ok, I'll fail, but I'll just try again. Stupid hedgehog.

We're waiting on the kill from the mafia, as well as a seer check. Hopefully, I'll have everything when I get home from work this afternoon, and we can get things rolling.

That's sad that we don't even remember the name of our own town. Hopefully we've got more brainpower than that when it comes to figuring out who's whom.
