So I went to Wal-Mart yesterday to see if they had any PSN cards on clearance, which some people on CAG had been reporting. I didn't see any signs saying it was on clearance, but I had decided to still get one anyway since I was running low on funds and needed some regardless.
So I bring it up to the counter, the guy does his thing, and he says it's $50. I go into my wallet and pull out two $20 bills and one $10 bill, hand it to the man, to which he promptly responds 'okay, $60.' Obviously I knew I hadn't just handed him $60, yet I stood there and did nothing as he proceeded to hand me $10 back. Hell, I was actually standing there hoping he wouldn't realize his mistake. He never did, and I left the store with a $50 PSN card that I only paid $40 for (the same price others reported it being on clearance at).
So am I in the wrong here? Eh, probably, but whatever. It's not my fault the employee was incompetent (no offense to the guy, but he was like 70 years old), and it's not like I was trying to deceive anybody (the $10 bill was on top for pete's sake, so he basically had to not even look at the damn money in order to not notice that). Sure I could have said something, but I usually never do in these situations (though to be fair I don't actually notice these things until after the fact most of the time). Whatever, it's already happened now, so what's done is done.
