I still haven't beaten it. What was once a completely joyous gaming experience has become a repetitive/annoying slog to get the last star. Having to go through the entire stage every single time I get electrocuted on that one part with the red-blue flippy platforms or get hit in the back of the head by a hammer because Mario just won't spin for some fucking reason is incredibly annoying, especially considering that the stage designers decided to add a bunch of shit to the first section of the stage that up the difficulty 10-fold (annoying flying enemies liek wut and way more fucking mines).


Seriously. Fuck you. This is seriously the only thing that's a good bit harder than the hardest stuff in Galaxy 1. It's like the world's most annoying difficulty spike. The only thing that adding mid-point flags would have done would have been to cut down on the annoyance. I've spent at least an hour a day just trying to get this one star.



OH AND THE BEST PART? I WENT BACK TO THE FIRST ITERATION OF THE STAGE AND THEN, WHEN IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I GET HIT? OH YEAH I FINISH THE DAMN STAGE WITHOUT GETTING HIT.



FUCK.
