About “Life ~in memory of Keiten~”

If the last track of the Black Mages III Darkness and Starlight was a tribute to the young deceased Yoshitaka Tagawa, why the name of the music is "in memory of Keiten"?

His Kanji name is 敬天 (Kei-ten, in onyomi reading). Incidentally, that's the way one first reads his name, even with solid knowledge of Kanji.
