Is there any way to independently increase the volume on rear speakers?

I have 5.1 speakers and a creative x-fi xtreme music sound card. Since my speakers are relatively far away, I want to increase their volume so the sounds will be easier to hear. Is there any way to raise their volume independently?

Thanks.

Jam it back in, in the dark.

Creative's mixer has independant front/rear volume controls. It should be in your creative folder.

There's nowhere I can't reach.

I can't find anything like that. Would you happen to know the exact location of it (and how to use it?)?

I have the same card and didn't see that option in my equalizer (I'm at work now..can't check though). Mind elaborating on it...or should it just "be in the mixer?"

(I've had issues with their software and getting my microphone output to function properly)

I was speaking idiomatically.
